((Alright, thanks!))Alex flew off the tree and started walking towards the house. The flock was taking to long, it could have been a trap.
Snow sneezed and look under the couch
Echo looks around the living room. Next to the couch, was a basket of magazines, newspapers, and loose papers. So she starts to look through there
Gem continued searching and found an old newspaper article about the first School opening. Apparently it was known to the public back then. She showed it to Echo. "Look,"
Echo looked at the paper and frowned. So they were telling the truth. "Its not just a story," she said quietly
Gem read the article. The first School had been founded in Massachusetts by Dr. Harry Dillard in the 70's. It was supposedly made to "nurture the future" by enhancing the human species.
Gem shook her head and read the rest of the article. At the bottom, it had the name of the School and the city and state where it was located. She looked up at Echo and raised an eyebrow. "Should we try to find it?"
"FANG GOD DANG IT!!!!" SNow yelled chaseing the wolf she lundge at him
Snow wrote: ""FANG GOD DANG IT!!!!" SNow yelled chaseing the wolf she lundge at him"
((What are you talking about, Snow?))
((What are you talking about, Snow?))
(lol, fang took something and now snows chaseing him, *Le gasp* you haven't forgot fang right?!?!?! :'()
After wrestling a while snow got back her sweater
Gem shrugged. "Well, this newspaper is from the 70's so we wouldn't know what to expect. They could've closed down years ago or may be the big mama of headquarters with state of the art security. But we do know that there's the possibility of getting some important information..."
"Aw, come on," Alex interrupted walking in the room, "Let's just go and do it. Might help us out." She said quickly, she really wanted to get out of this place.
She smiled and put it on "here boy"

Echo nodded. "I think it would be a good idea to try and find it, but what are we going to do once we do find it? We can't just go there without some kind of plan in mind. I don't just plan on finding it just to pay the first school a visit. And for all we know, it could be a museum by now. Who knows if its still up."
Snow walk in "I can change into a nother age and walk in looking around and stuff"
"We don't really know what to expect, that's the only problem. How about we leave tonight and go somewhere where we can research it as best as we can? The library here is already closed and I think we should really leave." Gem said
Echo nodded. "Leaving is a good idea. If the school is still up and running, then they will still be testing on mutants- most likely. If they are we need to stop it, set those kids free. But if its abandoned, or been turned into some kind or store or museum, we can look around and see if we can find anything that could give us another lead on the doomsday group," she offered
Echo thought for a moment. "I think early tomorrow morning. Let the flock get one more good nights sleep before we head out. Know we could all use it," she suggested
Gem nodded. "Sounds good. We should all probably go to bed soon, so we can leave early tomorrow morning." She put the newspaper they had found back where it came from.
Echo nodded. "Sounds good," she said and sat back down on the couch. Mayb she could find the map and look up DG places
Echo stood up from the couch and started looking around for a map. Any one would do, she just wanted to mark the DG places
snow came from ma and pa's room holding a map "found one" she was 6 again
Echo smiled at Snow and took the map from her hands. "Thanks," she said and sat on the couch, pulling out the paper from her pocket after making sure no one else was watching. She started trying to match and find cities of Itex
Echo knew they would have to leave soon. They cant stay in one place for too long, or someone ended up getting hurt. And a place like this? Surely the school would find them. She noticed that there were a lot more Itex facilities then she had realized. Germany, Italy, California, Colorado, D.C, and at least seven others. She stood up, realizing how much time had really gone by, and went to wake Gem
Giving up, Gem sat up and swung her legs over the side of the bed. Rolling her neck slowly, she yawned and then stretched. Rubbing her eyes, she stood up and opened her room's door quietly. She walked across the hallway to the bathroom and splashed water on her face all the while formulating and discarding several plans in her head.
Echo went up to Gems room, running into no one else on the way up. She was about knock on the door when she heard running water in the bathroom. Seeing that Gems door was left slightly ajar, she peeked inside and saw it was empty. So Gem was awake, and it was likely her in the bathroom. Echo stuffed the folded papers in her pocket before glancing at the clock.
Absentmindedly, Gem ran her fingers through her tangled red hair and sighed. Quietly, she twisted the door knob and walked into the hallway. She yelped and jumped when she saw Echo just standing there unexpectedly. Clearing her throat, she composed herself and asked, "Hey, ready to switch?"
Echos head jerked up slightly when she heard Gem exit the bathroom. "Sorry," she said quickly and offered a small smile. Sticking the note back deep into her pocket, she shrugged in response to Gems question. "Lets just keep going. No sense in wasting any time. I found some of the Itex places that matched some cities. Turns out they are all over the place. Germany, France, California. Everywhere. And perhaps bigger then we thought, or they are growing quickly. We can all look over them before we move," she added before going to the other rooms to round up the other flock members.
As soon as Echo walked in the room Alex's jumped up. She relaxed slightly when she realized who it was. "What do you need?" She asked.
Echo gave Alex an apolitical look. "Sorry," she mumbled, seeing she had jumped. "We are getting ready to head out soon, just finalizing some destinations. You want to come check them out?"
"Yeah, that sounds good," Alex responded and walked to the door. She followed behind Echo to where ever she was taking her.
Echo led Alex quietly downstairs, to make sure Ma or Pa didnt wake up. It was still pretty early in the morning, so she didnt worry too much. She pulled out the map and notes from the library, setting them on the table. "I have found One Light locations in France, and California. A few other places too, but Im not a hundred percent sure on those."
"Alright. That sounds tricky. The ones you found so far are probably the biggest," Alex thought out loud. "Plus, if we attach at one the others are sure to load up on more security." Looking up from the map, Alex stared at Echo. "We need to split up to achieve raiding both spots."
Echo nodded thoughtfully. "Thats a good point, but we are good in numbers. Are you sure splitting up is a good idea? We could attack from the inside out, instead of outside in. As long as we do it quietly, it shouldnt be a problem," she offered, just getting all possible thoughts out. She was never comfortable with splitting up.
"How do you plan on doing it from the inside?" Alex asked confused. Having mutant bird children go undercover sounded odd.
Echo thought about it for a moment. "Well, from the rally, it looked as though most of its supporters were children. We could gain their trust and shut it down on the inside. Besides, it looks like they know about mutants, and like them," she noted, remembering the girl from the rally who had reviled her wings. Immediately she was accepted. "If worse comes to worse, we could always use that to our advantage."
