Question Of The Day

So in general though, I think restaurants need to work with families. Don't do restrictions per se. But do have like specialty deals or something around noon to 5 for families with young kids. Like the families come in early to eat during those times they get deals and discounts on their meals. Even get put in a special family section to not disturb early eaters even then. But if folks start coming in later around 10 they will have to pay full price and maybe a young child tax or something. I know that is probably even wronger than the age restrictions per se. But to me, I think in and of itself is kind of cruel to have kids that young up and out way past their bedtime. Their little bodies need just as much rest if not more than the adults. So it's rather unfair to have them out so late like that all night.

We need to respect the different opinions that people have and that is not to say that anyone should be bullied, browbeaten, demeaned or disrespected by other readers or the powers of GR.
Is it just me or is the behavior that is frowned upon for GR members to exhibit the same behavior being utilized to streamline our shelves and reviews?

Pierogi is SOOO very good! Not found in many restaurant here in the states but there are a few.

As for what I don't order, I would have to say probably pasta, chicken, and any type of cakes. Although I love those things normally. I just don't think everyone can cook that stuff to my personal liking all that well. Like if it's BBQ chicken, the chicken might taste good but the sauce on it, might be too sweet or too hot and I don't really finish the meal. Or with cakes, some can be really awesome, and then others can have too much sugar in the icing or the cake itself is just too dry. So totally glad my folks opt into going to buffets. Can get what you want easily and avoid most other stuff as well.

Oh awesome, my mom loves pierogies. What is the Spaghetti Bolognese like? I've heard of it, but never had it.

it's pasta with mincemeat and tomatoe sauce, it's tasty but I've never eaten in real Italian restaurant.

I'm also afraid of the pain, Bozena. I've witnessed two childbirths. A cousin's nurse didn't insert the tube for the epidural right and had to go with natural. She asked me to hold her hand, that was a mistake. She almost broke my fingers. No exaggeration.

I agree, the pain has definitely got to be immense. But I'm willing to look beyond that, to the squalling new mini me and the boyfriend/hubs one day. Or for that matter sperm donor lol.

Ah yes once its all over, its a beautiful thing. Swear I've never seen people so happy when they first get to hold their child....as long as I don't have to actually witness another birth. lol I wouldn't make it as a midwife

Yea, true. I can get it for the select few.
Haha, yea, the watching of it can totally change any one's lives lol. I know for sure I wouldn't make it as a midwife either. Heck seeing someone's broken limbs at a wrong angle make me rather queasy.

new question: lies of omission, almost any day of my life. All the other lies I will not disclose without my lawyer/solicitor present. ;) ~grin~

The other, is when my oldest was in first grade, he came home from school devasted because an older boy told him Santa doesn't exist and parents are the ones who buys gifts. I told him Santa does exist and the only reason why that kids parents had to buy gifts was because he was so bad that Santa would not give him anything. My son was happy about with the explanation and no one could tell him Santa did not exist for several years.

Or just drink a fifth? LOL Sorry, had to be said. That is my usual answer as well. however...
In answer to the question, i don't know. Proably saying i was busy becuase i was being lazy and did not want to go somewhere (or was just tired after work and decided it could wait).

New Question: Do you have a favorite smoothie place? Whats your favorite smoothie!?

I don't think age restrictions but how about some common sense? If you kids are acting like fools...you should take them home. If I did this in front of my parents, I would have received the STARE OF DEATH.
