Carlena | 1753 comments Lol but savitar would guarantee it!

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments What that he won't hurt me or that you get rich?

message 1303: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments That I get rich. I don't think he'd hurt you. He may send you somewhere crazy though. Lol

message 1304: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments don't wanna go there either. so i prettily stay away and let the others get punished. ~wink~

message 1305: by Valerie (new)

Valerie (rie10) | 166 comments yeah, i saw the comment on FB and had to message Carlena to use that here. It is too perfect. I have far too many questions that pop into my head. Then i think, knowing Sav, he would not answer any of them.

Maybe have to ask him if he wants to get a drink (know what i mean? wink wink, nod, nod, nudge nudge LOL) Of course, it would just be fun to hang out. Or if can fix my anti-cleaning my house problem. Maybe ask if he can teach me to surf or soemthing. Or hook me up with one of the Drgaon were's. or....well, i could go on and one. LOL

message 1306: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments My question for Savitar would be: Dude can you teach me how to surf?

Manuela, I'm sorry to hear that about your husband. But I wasn't meaning literally on the sky diving trips. Definitely a no way. That amongst other things involving jumping off or out of anything can be extremely dangerous. Just I'm sure Shari has plenty of good adventures ahead of her that we'd miss hearing about if she was no longer with us.

message 1307: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments My question: May I give you a smooch!?

I'm not gonna ask any serious questions and for some reason I don't think he'd bother to teach me to surf. Maybe if I was some supernatural being with powers that could destroy the universe, a lot of emotional and psychological issues and needed battle training...under those circumstances I could see him teaching me to surf. So I'm just gonna put on my big girl panties and ask for a kiss :-)

message 1308: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Actually I think he would teach ya how to surf before he would answer much else. Anything else might piss him off lol. Aside from sexy stuff of course.

But you want to know something funny? When I was first thinking about this question. I was thinking about if he could do the Dougie? lol. And then it got me thinking about Ash's mom trying to dance and other badasses in the series actually just letting go and dancing in general.

message 1309: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments LMAO!!! Cherale! You made choke laughing so hard. That would be mad funny watching them trying to do the dougie.

message 1310: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Haha, glad I could make your day Shari. Hell made my day as well with that one. Still not sure where that even came from.

message 1311: by Ally (new)

Ally | 325 comments If I was feeling particularly suicidal I might ask him to pull my finger. I would imagine the end would be quick ;)
He's mentioned in the past that there are only two people he loves, I get the feeling one of them is Ash but I would like to know for sure, it would either explain some of his past or just make him more mysterious....
....in reality though, I would probably hide in a corner and end up asking my question by accident....something like "are you ok?" Which is almost a nervous tic for me.

message 1312: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments Aaaawwwweeee Ally that is so sweet of you. I think the only way I would ask him questions would be if we would randomly meet somewhere and I had no idea who he is. I am awefully shy and starstruck when it comes to famous people. I always think that my questions are either too personal or too stupid. So in a conversation with a stranger I wouldn't mind questioning things mainly out of the content of the conversation itself.

message 1313: by Denise (new)

Denise (justplainme) My question to Savitar would be, "When do we get YOUR book?" Surely he knows........ ;-)

message 1314: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments NEW QUESTION OF THE DAY:

If you could change one thing in the dark hunter universe, what would it be?

message 1315: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments Denise wrote: "My question to Savitar would be, "When do we get YOUR book?" Surely he knows........ ;-)"

that is a very good question, Denise!!! ;)

message 1316: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments Carlena wrote: "NEW QUESTION OF THE DAY:

that they could fight together without losing their powers so they would once and for all defeat their enemies and we could see more of the happily forever and ever.

message 1317: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Thats a good question. I've actually never really thought about it before. I don't necessarily want it to change but if humans knew what was going on (the supernatural existing) how that would affect the dynamics of the DH universe.

message 1318: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Great question Carlena. Aside from what Manuela mentioned kind of hard for me to think of anything to change in their world. But if I really stop and think about it. Maybe, I don't know have all of them actually know who is a God or something else on their team. Not just to be nosy per se. But could prove beneficial when you are fighting for the survival of the world. Maybe know who to call in for an additional ally.

Or maybe how the souls being returned could be changed as well. Not sure how. But still.

message 1319: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments I was thinking along those lines. I feel the DH should make some sort of bargain with Artemis for their soul. Or do some kind of test. I mean its their soul, why do they have to go through a third party!?

message 1320: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments I thought I read in the Beginning that they used to have a test that Artemis gave the first few DH's. But then it got too out of hand or Artemis didn't deem them worthy and that is why Ash stepped in and he agreed with Artie to have the other person put the soul back into the DH's body. But still need something a little better.

message 1321: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Kinda but it was more of when Artemis and Ash first were setting it up, Ash wanted to make sure there was a way out for them. Thats where Artemis set Ash up so he could stay with her forvever because she couldn't keep him any other way. Ash had to be the one she bargained with because the DH's had nothing she wanted. They never got the chance to barter with her

message 1322: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Oh I remember that part. But there was a bit more in-depth part too. Cause there was a story on SK's site, I thought it was the beginning or another. When she had elaborated on how Artie had created more DHs and do to the whole unpreparedness of Ias and the two others Ash bargained with Artie for the other DHs to have aids/servants during the day and women if they needed them. And the only way to free the DHs was if the person that loved them passed whatever tests Artie had the DH would go free. But do to Artie being so fickle and changing up the test each time, is what led to Ash to stepping up to do the bargaining and therein Artie tricking him into being with her forever that way too. I even think it too it was said that he didn't want the DHs bargaining with her not only for fear they would discover his Godhood. But because he knew that as you said, they didn't have anything she wanted and because being the way she is, she would likely harm them more if they come at her in a rather uncouth manner.

message 1323: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments I think I remember something like that. And after Ias and his wife, Ash realized that just because the DH loved the woman didnt mean she loved him back. And he had to perfect it. Something along those lines

message 1324: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Mhmm, which I still want to kick Ias's ex-wife's tail for sure.

And I thought of another thing that I would possibly change about the DH universe. The Were-hunter's mating mark shouldn't be able to be so easily manipulated into being and actually have the two people involved become ACTUAL mates. As I forget which couple it was that had a demon talk to the Fates and got them to mate the guy to someone. I didn't think that was right or fair. Should think something like the mark should be just a natural occurrence and not influenced in any way.

message 1325: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Ah you're talking about Sam and Dev. Sam killed the demons brother and the demon just so happened to be the fates cousin so had her marked to easily find her

message 1326: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments And I definitely agree with you. I thought that was too easy

message 1327: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Thanks. And no kidding on how easily it happened. I get the fates are Greek and they can be petty as all get out. But I don't know. They just didn't usually seem like Artie. So for them to do what they did was rather annoying.

message 1328: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments And I thought the fates hated men as a rule. They did that all too willingly. Then again I could see them getting back at Artie since the DH are cheating fate by not dying

message 1329: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Oh good point, Shari. Could be or the fact that Ash is their brother and they would do anything to snub him as well.

message 1330: by Carlena, Pumpkin Pie/Care Bear (new)

Carlena | 1753 comments NEW QUESTION OF THE DAY:

What is your favorite thing in SK's dark hunter series?

message 1331: by Valerie (new)

Valerie (rie10) | 166 comments For yesterday's question.. I would go for the being able to be in the same room w/o draining powers. That is a huge disadvantage and one i think is very unfair. The rest i think would alter the world too much and take away from some of the 'fun'.

Today's question- The fact that they are ancient and mythological beigns and gods living/existing/playing in our modern times. And more importantly, not being caught by our crazy governement (or big brother, depending on which term you prefer).

message 1332: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments the yumminess of the guys and the girls!!! I mean, imagine you walk into one of their very short (due to the draining of their powers) happenings where most of them are together. I would probably think I died and gone to heaven. LOL ;) ~wink, wink~

message 1333: by Valerie (new)

Valerie (rie10) | 166 comments Manuela wrote: "the yumminess of the guys and the girls!!! I mean, imagine you walk into one of their very short (due to the draining of their powers) happenings where most of them are together. I would probably t..."

I have to agree with that. The 'H-O-T' factor would be a sight to behold. But would any of them actually talk to me? I wonder.....(goes off to daydream land..)

message 1334: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Oh this is definitely a no brainer question for me. The mythology, the humor, and the fact that these ancient men and women don't take themselves all that seriously. They kick ass, take names, and still crave oreos and nice cars. It's just awesome.

message 1335: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments New Question- Do you think you should ever tell your friends with benefits, whom you've gotten pregnant by, that you are going to have an abortion? Does he have the right to know or is it mostly the woman's concern?

message 1336: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments personally speaking, i don't agree with the whole friends with benefits thing but if it were me then yeah i would tell them. it takes two ppl and when u engage in sex there's always a risk of becoming pregnant. i would talk to the person about the abortion (if the pregnancy were even taken in that direction). imo the other person would have a right to know. there are rare situations tho where the other person wouldnt have to know, it just depends on the situation but generally speaking i think they have the right to know.

message 1337: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Yes you should. Out of consideration and respect. Maybe y'all will agree on the decision, maybe you wont. And while I do recognize that we are ultimately the ones carrying the baby. Some women take advantage of that knowledge. Woman gets pregnant, she demands the guy to help her, to give her child support, to come see his kids. It takes two to tango so he should be involved whether he likes it or not all the while trying to keep full custody and then on the other side of that coin say its my body, hes not carrying this baby, his decision doesnt matter. Thats messed up. So I say be an adult about the situation and at least make him aware of whats going on. He might not look at you the same if he were to find out down the road that he was almost a father

message 1338: by Ally (new)

Ally | 325 comments I totally totally, agree with what the others have said but I also have to add something. You are talking about abortion here so if we are to assume that the pregnant woman is 100% without a doubt going to have an abortion (which is something only she could know) then it might be worth asking if telling him could only hurt him? Because yes maybe he wouldn't want a baby either, which lets face it if we are talking about friends with benefits your probably not wanting to have a baby together, but there is a chance this guy is desperate for a baby, and to find out that there is one forming, however early, and that its not going to be born could be heartbreaking. I don't know this guy, so I can't say, I just had to add that side of things.

Having said all that I do think the whole friends with benefits thing opens a whole can of worms, so hopefully the two people concerned knew where they were from the start, which would effect this decision.

If the woman was going to term with the baby then without a doubt he deserves to know but if this is a decision already made then its a bit more of a grey area.

Personally I would tell him, if for nothing other than the support he could offer and the fact that by telling him he would understand possible changes in the relationship.

For whoever has to make this decision I really feel for you. It's not going to be easy but hopefully it will all work out ;)

message 1339: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments Agree Ally especially about that bit with the man actually wanting to have a baby. Men have feelings too, it'll affect him just as much as you.

message 1340: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments definitely agree with ya'll on that

message 1341: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Great points ladies. I think it kind of goes without saying that if you are willing to get your freak on with the person. You should have the lady balls to clue him into the fact that he has helped create another life. Rather he wants it or not. Still something you don't keep to yourself.

message 1342: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments sadly there's a lot of females who feel the guy doesnt deserve to have any input in it so to speak o_o. bc theyre high on the fact that theyre a "woman". there's women who are feminist and then theres just crazy egotistical over the edge feminist which imo isnt even being a feminist... its just being mean rofl.

message 1343: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments That and most could just be super selfish. And feel like they have more right to engage in their women's libs rights and live it up like a guy. So figure that if a guy was in the same situation, he wouldn't think to consider his partner. But yea, definitely not the way to go. And always why I'm not a fan of people being too casual about sex. I'm sure for some it can be fun and what not. But all kinds of things can crop up like this.

message 1344: by Manuela (new)

Manuela (manu21) | 2559 comments I loved casual sex before I was married. I think it depends on the situation, whether a woman wants and should share information like that. Talk is good if both parties are up to it. Contact to the father of the child is not always the best choice, but I am sure when the kid is older the questions will start. Abortion is a choice of the woman only. Men can state their opinion but should not force women to either (to abort or not abort). I am pro abortion but am not sure if I ever would take it into consideration (there are only two reasons when I would). I am more the safe sex person. Always protect yourself from anything you don't want happen to you. Don't trust the other party, protect yourself.

message 1345: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments Dhfan4life wrote: "That and most could just be super selfish. And feel like they have more right to engage in their women's libs rights and live it up like a guy. So figure that if a guy was in the same situation, he..."

yup, true.

message 1346: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most rude and 1 being the least how would you rate each of these situations on a scale of how rude they are?

1. Someone interrupting you when you are talking

2. Someone gawking at a mother breastfeeding in public

3. Someone using a cell phone in the movie theater

4. Someone chewing with their mouth open or smacking their lips while eating

5. Someone not holding the door open to the elevator when they see you coming around the corner with your arms filled with groceries or helping an elderly relative

message 1347: by Shari-amor, Doll Cake (new)

Shari-amor | 5275 comments 1. 4

2. 8

3. 2

4. 7

5. 10

message 1348: by Dhfan4life, Honey Bun (new)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments 1. 4

2. 3ish, only cause I've never been in a situation where someone was breastfeeding in public around me. So never really caught any one doing that.

3. 1/rarely happens where I am. The seat kicking though is nauseating.

4. 3ish/I sometimes do this when I'm making a point about something sometimes. So guilty.

5. 10+++++, particularly any one that just NEVER holds the door open for you in any situation. Which I have experienced plenty of times.

message 1349: by Jennifer (last edited Aug 07, 2013 09:34PM) (new)

Jennifer | 1747 comments 1. 3 (it doesnt really bother me much, it just depends on the situation)
2. 7 (never seen it before but i would find it rude if random ppl were just standing there watching her o_o)
3. 7 (ppl do that constantly here. it wouldnt bother me if the ppl surrounding me werent blinding me with their cellphone lights LOL x.x too many going on in my face during a good portion of the movie. aside from that it i dont care about it tho)
4. 3 (doesnt bother me unless its the creepy kind of smacking rofl)
5. 10 (never used an elevator anywhere except for in a hospital and parking garage but in that situation i'm going to go with ppl rudely closing doors in ur face in those situations)

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments Hey there sis, how ya been today?

New Question- Bachelor/Bachelorette parties. Have strippers attend or no? Part of tradition? Or not something you would wish yourself OR your significant to experience during that last night of "freedom".
