Ya ally that question really can only be answered honestly by where you are in life right now. I am not married and don't have any kids, or in a relationship for that matter, so career is a big one for me. Your family means the world to you, and rightly so. So I totally get ya!
hard for me to say. Right now, maybe friends a bit. Since i lost my hubby I have realized how few friends i have kept over the 15 years we were together. I also think Career may be higher on the list. I still think i am not doing what i want to and if i had the money to do so, would take a few classes for an area totally unrelated to what i am doing now. So, one of the two probably. One i know i would never want mapped out is love life. It is so much more fun (well, most of the time) to NOT know when you meet someone if they are worth keeping, etc.
:) carlena you are so right :) it's all about where we are in our lives, I consider myself lucky in many ways.I would love to know about my career though, I'm at a crossroads right now.....exciting
It does. I'd be excited if someone drew it out for me but I know I'd do something to mess it up a bit. lol
Dude, I'm so for having my career path plotted out a bit. I need some green like nobody's business. I feel once that is at least taken care of can work out the other stuff for sure. Family will always been family regardless of what one does at times.New Question- What is the craziest dream or nightmare have you ever had?
I use to having a recurring nightmare when I was growing up about the Michael Jackson Thriller music video except it was in a laundry mat and it was a bunch of us kidsc(all wearing light green scrubs) and MJ was the only zombie. It played out like a musical us singing and dancing on counters and washing machines to Thriller then half way through MJ started attacking us and we're parkouring to try to get away
Ok, I so really should have gone online yesterday, but alas it wasn't in my stars.Old question: What if your mapped out career would not take you further than an everyday 9 to 5 job? I wouldn't want to know, that I will ever struggle with bills, not really able to afford to go somewhere or have children. And before some of you ask, yes that was exactly the reason why I am now 43 and counting and have no children. I wanted, needed to have the financial security, but it wasn't in my stars either. We built a house three years ago and paying off mortgage, hubby had a skydiving accident which he luckily survived but since then we have been paying for hospital stays, specialist appointments, pain medication etc. Our lifestyle has gone down the drain, as with all the medical issues hubby now has, there is not much left apart from work for both of us and a very sparse private life. Thank god for the internet and you guys. And the books and Sherrilyn Kenyon!!!
And from here I get to new question:
My biggest nightmare (apart from running away from the faceless man) is that I find while walking down the street (usually somewhere where I normally would walk) a small coin (5cent piece), then another and then another and I start bending down and picking them up and it gets more and the coins get bigger (10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2 - it used to be € as I am from Germany) and I start shuffeling all the coins into my pockets and there is more the further I walk and I have trouble to fit them all in my pockets and I get frantic and then I wake up and have to calm myself down and then I realize it was all a DREAM. Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh :(
I am sure as this has been recurring that it has to do with my financial insecurity.

To dream of finding money, denotes small worries, but much happiness. Changes will follow. Hope this helps! Good luck!! :-)

I had this dream for years before I moved to Australia.
Do you know by any chance anything about running away from a person (usually a dark faceless man) and you run as fast as you can but he catches up and eventually you can't get away from him as if your feet are glued to the ground and you wake up the second before he gets you?!?!?!
I've got a question but my memory is rubbish so I'm gonna ask you lovely ladies now ;)Feel free to answer till tomorrow...
If you could have any of SK's characters as parents who would you pick and why.
I'm not sure of mine yet ;)
Good one Ally. I'm really going to have to ponder that one. Could we mix and match characters for parents? Cause I have a pairing in mind maybe.
Ha! I wanted him to be my daddy and Tabby as my mommy. I'd even be willing to inherit the red hair and surfing abilities. :D
Lol, I don't know about sane :)I have 38 cousins already and I'm the black sheep :D
Ok so I've made my selections for an SK family ;)
Mum - either Amanda, Grace or Bride ( I think they would be great mums)
Dad - Ash I think, he's my top choice and that would make Simi my sister too.....amazing!!!
Uncle - savitar! Best uncle ever!
Aunt - sunshine, love her!!
Cousin - nim, we've not heard much about him but I like him already. Maybe also Asmodeus (think I've got his name right) he's got crazy cousin written all over him ;)
Brother - vane and Dev, got the protective brother thing to a tee!
Sister - tabby ;) movie night would be awesome.
Ok, I've gone a little overboard lol!
Couldn't have vane as a brother or ash as a dad, to attracted to them. Maybe Wulf as my father since I am in no way attracted to him.
Carlena I like your thinking ;) I'm on a Jaden and Jared fixation at the moment so having the others as family works (for now)Also excuse the excessive use of exclamation marks, it's a disease, honest ;)
Lol well now you're cutting below the belt! Jk Lol!!!! !!!!!! Sorry. I get excited and sometimes that's what is needed. An exclamation point.
I would so want all the Devereux (spelling?) sisters as my sisters if I could have any. Love all of them. I always wondered why SK never matched them up with any of the Peltiers. Like a match made in writing history right there. Plenty of them on each side.
Oh DH why have I never thought if the deveraux's and the peltier's!! That's perfect.Carlena you really are a lady after my own heart!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
And don't worry, we don't know much about j&j yet, maybe that's why I like them, I'm a fan of mystery ;)
No need to hate ya Carlena. Jaden and Jared are in some later books but still a heavy cloud of mystery over them both still. And yea, I've been thinking about those two families coming together for eons. Ever since first reading about the both of them. Might help too with aiding in more I don't know special ability Deveraux kids too. As I still think it is such a mystery why Amanda has the abilities that she does.
That's a really good point DH, Amanda's powers haven't really been explored and we know about a few of the sisters but certainly not all of them. A lot of scope there. I hope she comes back to them. I love hearing about the old characters especially when they appear in later books.
Me too ally. Especially my fav characters. It lets me know how they progressed. I loved bride and vane at the oyster bar in Val's book. Mainly cause vane said he diet want to be in the dog house. Ah funny stuff.
No kidding. I miss some of the older characters. But so many are off in wedded family bliss. But some can spare a side kick role here and there. Like Talon and Zarek.
Zarek was a turd to Val in later books. Not like asshole, but a turd. Astros had to tell him to stop being a child several times. It made me giggle. But I have a soft spot for Zarek.
Haha, but that is part of who Zarek is. He has always been one to pick on and mock the others at times regardless who you are. Flipping folks off with his claws. Being an ass. Drinking from humans just because. Just a mess.
