Macky (mactut) How can this pile of white... ' things' be classed as edible sustenance? Just wrong!

message 3852: by [deleted user] (new)

Tofu is really good when pan fried with vegetables and noodles :-)

message 3853: by Macky (new)

Macky (mactut) Harrumph! But its white and squidgy Helle... Oooh not quite convinced but I reckon you could make it taste good when you're cooking hun! ;) No beans though.... Mumble mumble!

message 3854: by Averin (new)

Averin | 1962 comments Lima beans always remind me of nursery school, all those recycled ice cream sundae cups filled with water, felt, and food coloring. Then the hideous things sprouting and clambering out.

Grumpy eek. What a horrible thought. :(

Roger Kean | 17278 comments I'd hate to think I'd driven you to reading my delicious and entirely butter been free paltry tale of footballers, Macky. But if it's cricketers you're after, there is a match in A Life Apart, all done up in their old-fashioned but sexy whites. Oh, and not to forget the pavilion scene….

Ah yes I've gorged myself on that delicious vegetable free book of derring do but I'm thinking more a contempory Cricket romance with a bean hating hero who perhaps has the misfortune to fall for a rival cricketer who owns a butter bean farm. How will these star crossed lovers get over this chasm of vegetable doom. I'd pay to read that! Perhaps he'd have a passing resemblance to Steve Gut.. Oops Guttenberg....

@ Hele.. Ooh girlfriend now that's more like it... Set the table I'm on my way! I can do green beans..

message 3860: by Macky (new)

Macky (mactut) Sweet chili tofu stir fry. Now that looks ad sounds good Helle! :)) in a complainy way of course!

message 3863: by Goesta (new)

Goesta I'm discombobbled why everyone seems to be referring to this gentleman.

message 3864: by Averin (new)

Averin | 1962 comments Ugh, healthy food. Here is what I want with my coffee:

message 3865: by [deleted user] (new)

Then I should have a lot of chili in our dinner LOL

Tonight for dinner we have homemade potato salad and chicken :-)

Ooh happy to talk about dinner, my mom would complain about I talk about food everyday LOL :-)

message 3866: by Averin (new)

Averin | 1962 comments Sadly, this is what I will probably have:

And not even sourdough, as they are Philistines here in Texas.

message 3868: by [deleted user] (new)

Averin then the first picture was better to have with your coffee, a sweet tooth :-)

message 3869: by Gabbo (new)

Gabbo Parra (lordgabux) | 559 comments Since we are complaining about food...Allow me to throw the hissy fit from Hell (not that I believe in such place, but the expression is accurate) because since I arrived to the USA I haven't been able to eat red meat. For some reason it makes me sick no matter how fancy expensive or free-ranged the cows had been.

So I have to eat chili con PORK.

Do you know how sad it is to me not be able to dispatch a healthy tasty burger? How can I one day consider myself part of this country if I cannot clog my arteries with cow and more cow?

Averin | 1962 comments Helle wrote: "Averin then the first picture was better to have with your coffee, a sweet tooth :-)"

A New York favorite, Helle, Black and White cookies.

This is who I'd rather have my coffee with instead of the cat:

message 3871: by Averin (new)

Averin | 1962 comments For Helle, I hope you get relief soon:

message 3872: by [deleted user] (new)

I have to complaint that Averin needs to send that boy immediately after breakfast to Madame Fluffers school of Flighty Flight Attendants.

Don't worry, hun, he can always come back to eat something with you after class.

I am sorry for Gabbo, as I love a good steak and hate pork. I hate chili too. I try to but Hallal or Kosher chicken as the anti-biotic infested stuff makes me ill.

Having read Tarnished Toys, I have placed someone more fitting in Chatter.

He seems familiar somehow, most be some comedian, I just can pinpoint him exactly.

He appeared on my dashboard so is probably from someone in the M/M group, Tumblr is not always long on sources.

I am on the team, but not one of your editors. Typically, before an author is asked for final approved edits, the formatters Test Post and all 25 of us go through the story. So, I'ved read it and liked it very much.

Why is that we as complainers don't have a WHAT I REALLY HATE ABOUT BOOKS TURNED INTO MOVIES thread?

Aren't there enough of those to complain for eons?

message 3894: by Tj (new)

Tj (bluesmokey) | 632 comments I hate making lists for my trip. Hubby gave me a few lists for what to put in the RV for the trip and I'm to combine and sort:( Loooong list! AND I'm suppose to shop for what we don't have on the same day as my pain doctor appointment and hair appointment:( That day will suck.

@Helle - Sorry your hurting so bad again, hun:( I hope you get some easier days so they will go faster until your appointment. On a lighter note that dish looks yummy:)

@Tj Damn your day with suck with all these things the same day on your pain doctor appointment and hair appointment, then buy all the things on the list. I would panic if I should do all these things on the same day.

Well I have the ingredients to make the recipe :-)

It's not that you did something terrible and they're making you read O&W again for punishment, I hope. I couldn't live with myself. I promise the next one had lots of plotting. So much it's been doing my head in to keep it all consistent.
