Danni | 248 comments Macky wrote: "In fact Danni could take her lovely little boys and girls to all the stuffy politicians who think they need to debate the gay marriage issue, listen to the innocent wisdom of the kids and then perhaps they'd see how dumb the whole fiasco is and just pass all the legislations to allow same sex marriage. then the world could celebrate with " Gay Kissing Day". In fact I would say say LSFGR......... " Let's Snog For Gay Rights"!! "

This sounds like a great terrible idea, particularly as I would get a trip to London with my little lovelies. They might be able to talk some sense into the politicians who seem to be spending ages discussing something that is so obviously right (and is going to eventually happen anyway) although once they have it sorted out, we will miss out on gems like Norman Tebbit's recent argument that if gay marriage is allowed, then would he then be allowed to marry his son for tax reasons without even considering the fact that by following that argument, under current law he would already be allowed to marry his own daughter - duh!

Tj (bluesmokey) | 632 comments I'm disturbed that I haven't commented in a while.

@Helle - Hope you are feeling better. I never know which is worse to hurt all the time or to have those days when the pain is less. Somehow it always hurts worse after you have a few good or at least decent days:(

New leaders:( Well, at least it's not a total regime change;)

@Anil - That frustrating university. How can they keep giving you the run around! Keep at 'em!

@Anya - congrats...erm darn! So happy upset to see you won Roger's wonderful awful book. Lucas is sneaky!

@Danni - O_o girls kissing girls or boys kissing boys is a problem at 5! Whatever happened to playing doctor? Well, it's just wonderful awful that those kids are so unbiased.

message 3253: by Macky (new)

Macky (mactut) My gruntle is terribly dissed to think that men like Numbnuts Norman are active in leading our countries! How boggling of the mind that is.... Hmmm, reading that back, like yoda sounds I am!

message 3254: by Tj (new)

Tj (bluesmokey) | 632 comments Oh forgot to report the wonderful awful news that my grandson and his mom are going on vacation with us. My grandmother's 90th birthday party is coming up. She hasn't been able to see my grandson yet so it's awesome terrible she'll get to spend some extra time with him. We will be able to get a 5 generation picture when my son gets there and go see some sites which is terrific depressing since my DIL hasn't really been out of the state of Texas!

message 3255: by Lori S. (new)

Lori S. (fuzzipueo) | 2809 comments I should like to complain about the [much needed] laugh I got out of Danni's discussion of her little ones and Norman Tebbit's ludicrous, addle-headed comments (he really said that?).

I wish all kids were that open and accepting. Sadly, my 10 year old niece has been poisoned by a "friend" at school who's views on gay marriage made me upset. When I asked my niece what she thought of the issue, she couldn't respond without falling back on said "friend." It's summer vacation now, though, so I'm going to try and work on that issue and getting her stand up for herself.

Anil, hang in there and keep up the fight on your end. Still, what a pain in the you know what!

Helle, hoping you feel better tomorrow. Take care of yourself.

Thank you Tj, Danni and Macky for your kind and sweet words that means a lot to me, thank you for your support xxx <3 Hugs back

Sorry, but I have a bad Night again 5 hours sleep. My neck hurts unbearable pain, only about 15 minute my neck felt numb and then started the pain again. My feet pain too so it's hard to go, so I have a pain in the neck, feet, hips, lower back, spine and shoulder and arm, to many things of the body that hurts.

I feel like last Wednesday and I hate being that way, would just like to have my good mood and say that I will manage, but the longer it goes the more unbearable the pain becomes. I want to get biological medicine again Humira and another product that can make me painless.

I'm tired and sad when I did not have the energy to read in books, as this is one of my pleasures in life and not being able to read in books makes life sad.

I would so like to have the energy to cook and make big fine dishes for family, hard to do this when your energy is closest to zero.

Can not blame it on the weather today, because it is fine sun, warm and no wind.

As it looks now I'll need to run me tired to get a few hours sleep

Well done Tj and Macky, I could not stay awake to get the last tweetaway and could they not have done this before the hour 24?!?

I know this is a complain department, but I want to tell you that the endorfines is helping me today, so I feel almost painfree and the pain killers are helping a lot today even if the weather is bad rain and cold. I am very happy and I think today some reading and updates. Making fine dinner to my family and then early to bed.

Just hope tomorrow are not going to be a bad day, it seem every second day is a bad day, with many pains and bad mood * fingers crossed* that this is not happened this weekend.

On Wednesday's MRI and 19 June, meeting with regard to scan and hopefully start a new biological medicine.

@Tj sorry that you have the in-laws visiting you on sunday, hope you survive them.

@Macky that was a long night and you need some sleep, sleep well and good dreams.

Macky (mactut) I'm bleating and whinging because The wise and gorgeous fairly ordinary Ijeoma ' Tweetaway queen extraordinaire ' is just the best worst person ever at finding Freebies. Its just not on and I hope she keeps on stops doing it at once!

And how dare Helle be high on endorphins and feeling better today. My goodness that's the BEST worst news ever!!

Tj you need some "In-law" meditation, and a chant: Ohmmmmm ... I will not hide in the closet all day Sunday... I will not hide in the closet all day Sunday.... Ohmmmmm.... I Will not....
We're with you in spirit Teej. * group hug*

Preston I may have to write you into a hot flouncy Mistress Macky story and if you're very bad I may have to ' sewenade' you as the bwilliant and tewibbly erudite Mr G says with a limawick! This could annoyingly ruin your cool rep for life... Pffft!

message 3282: by Macky (new)

Mistress Primly Immoderate -- I must scold the technically, and I'm sure aptly thus, endowed Prestonian -- would never commit the typographical sin of a misplaced fly-speck in the manner you suggest in your reading, viz. the confusion of possession, substantive completion and action. (Though I, sighting a plate of candy, say, might.)

message 3288: by Macky (new)

Macky (mactut) Oh I love hate a good moan in the morning ... starts the day with a feeling of grumpy contentment and Prestons amazing sphericals are my first of the day. I must complain bitterly that he thinks I ( the mature and sensible character that I so obviously am ) could mean anything of a risqué nature..... What Goesta the bold said!

message 3289: by Goesta (last edited May 26, 2013 04:34AM) (new)

I feel that it is my unpleasant duty to remind green-eared newbies that such inconsiderate showering of praise, however well de- and observed, will be dealt with most severely. Our moderator emeritus is busily building up his muscle mass to punish all and sundry offenders with bruising hugs. Which reminds me: LL, you're the coolest!

And I'm mortally offended that I can't see your pink neon Wolverine style claws. Because I will see your bitch and raise you by stating I totally loathe hyphens, em dashes, and may a deity help anyone who throws me an en dash.

Goesta Averin wrote: "And I'm mortally offended that I can't see your pink neon Wolverine style claws. "

And I'm all sweaty and exercised now, which I enjoy in others (I could name a couple here) but not on myself, having had to dash off to research what an en dash even is. My dad was a typesetter before he became a chief editor; I hang my head in shame. Mistress A. has fast proven herself a Noble member of the fret pack, I fear.

A good marish night to all!

message 3299: by Macky (new)

Macky (mactut) I'm annoyed to say that all this talk of typesetting is making my head hurt - oops an en dash – my god these dashes get everywhere —is that an em dash or a hyphen? Oh I give up! Where are the grammar police?! Some one needs to complain. AVERRRRIN............ ;)
