Anil (loykalina) | 303 comments I am truly surprised that Macky is asking whether she could come here and live with me or not! I consider it as a rhetoric question since there is only one answer for it: Yes!

Rick | 15794 comments I am very upset. I missed wishing Macky a happy birthday, so I suppose I'll have to wish Macky a belated birthday.

I'm also upset that Helle and Kendra are not feeling well. You have my warmest hopes for good health.

Hugs to everyone.

Macky is very happy oops sorry... Very harrumphy that Rick is wishing her a belated happy birthday and she's getting a bit worried because she's talking about herself in third person!

Kendra & Helle big hugs for feeling crappy. <3

Lori S. (fuzzipueo) | 2809 comments First, I'm sorry to here that Helle and Kendra don't feel well. I hope you two feel better very quickly!

Secondly, Ann was complaining about her Facebook and Goodreads accounts being synched together in the General Chatter Thread and I thought I would pass on this to anyone else who might find this unwanted connection annoying:

In your Profile go to the Apps tab. Right at the top is a box with Facebook stuff in it. You can unclick all of the boxes or you can disconnect your Facebook profile from your Goodreads account. I just did this. I'm now very happy. :oD

That's the good annoying thing is that I FEEL fine other than the random, can't think of why I would have them heart palpitations. The doctor asked me if I have stress, I told him "I have three kids, of course I have stress." Then he rephrased with MORE stress than usual, which I can't think of anything so I have no idea what it could be from.

My mother, of course, is freakin' out on me because now that she knows how to navigate the internet, she was able to find out that adults who had Kawasaki Disease when they were children (which I did when I was 2) could possibly develop heart problems as adults. At least they think, but since they still don't even know what causes it in the first place, they aren't sure. No, I was not allergic to a motorcycle, nor did one make me sick. Google it, I promise it is a real disease.

I should have never taught her how to get online.

message 2064: by Goesta (new)

Goesta Kendra wrote: "Macky wrote: "I should have never taught her how to get online. "

International chorus of woe. Adult children everywhere drowning in parental advice.

My mom, and me to a lesser extent, have palpitations once in a while (more like skipping a beat). Doesn't seem to be anything "wrong". I very much hope and wish yours turns out to be trivial, though I completely get how it can be disquieting (and cause further palpitations).

Ije the Devourer of Books | 14524 comments @ Kendra I would like to echo what Goesta has said.

I hope it isnt anything serious. I had palpitations some years ago and had to go on an ambulatory heart monitor. My doctor didnt know what it was. Later on I realised it was the amount of coffee I was drinking. I had just discovered the joys of coffee laced with syrup in Starbucks, so it turned out ok in the end.

I hope your's does too. I know how worrying and frightening it can be.

message 2066: by [deleted user] (new)

I want to complain that I wish to have more nights with good sleep and no pains, first night in 3 months that I have sleep well, but I know this is maybe the last night I have to sleep that well, with no pain and no nightmares. Damn I hate to wait, can they just not say that I begin biological medicin now with Humira or another biological medicin, right now the doctors should not make anything wrong or we really will sued the hospital and the doctor.

So sorry to hear Kendra is not feeling well and should the doctors not try to find out what is wrong with the hearth?!? They can't say to a patient that they do not know what is wrong and just stand there and do nothing *grrr*

I wish I have energy to read the books on my list that I should read at the moment, but the books is to dark and have a lot of problems and I think that it's enough to fight in the RL and I just do not need to read about it too.

I read fluffy fanfics by Xobit about Transformers m/m and Macky's sexy, funny and amazing story, more energy do I not have to read, miss to read dark books and write updates. Feeling so alone and many times just want to cry and sleep like sleeping beauty and never wake up anymore.

I am angry that I forgot my parents 39 year wedding anniversary and did not have any gifts to them, I would have make fine dinner if I have not forgot that. Macky's birthday on the same day, was I almost to late to wish a happy birthday *grrr*

Sorry that I write so much, but I feel like everything just want to go wrong and I do not have the energy to that more things go that way, just want the things to be right again, to be happy, pain free, to sleep well and to have energy to do some of the things before my illness, not all the things but maybe some of them. To travel to some countries like Italy, UK etc.

message 2067: by Macky (new)

Macky (mactut) I'm aggrevated for Kendra because palpitations are very upsetting and not pleasant. I get them related to panic attacks so I sympathise. Really hope that your doctors get down to the case of them Kendra.. I'm sure you'll find the explanation is nothing sinister but until then obviously you worry. Fingers crossed hun and like Ijeoma and Goesta have said everyday things that you would never think of can be catalysts... The caffeine explanation is very relevant today as you don't realise the amount of things that contain it. I was told to cut it out so now Im relatively caffeine free and mine have lessened considerably... Bless your mom, she's just worried about her baby! Because that's what you are however mature you are now. It is tempting though with symptoms to hit the computer to check them out. Not good for the imagination though..... It tends to have the Eeeeeeeeeek factor! Hugs!

message 2068: by Anil (new)

Anil (loykalina) | 303 comments I am enraged that the doctors do not do their best to help Helle. I hate it when they shrug as if it weren't their fault. Hope they will allow Helle to start biomedicine and she'll feel much, much better. Then she can sleep better and feel well enough to read the books on her to-read list.

Helle, I think you shouldn't feel bad for forgetting your parents marriage anniversary. It happens. Hopefully you'll start the new medication soon and your being well/feeling better will be a good present for them. *hugs*

Helle,

I regret to say that if forgetting birthdays and anniversaries is bothering you, you are not alone. Almost everyone does this including me.

I am pleased that at least you had one night that you slept well. I wish that every night for you was restful and pain-free sleep.

BIG HUG! Lucas

Harrumph,, .....Helle you my sweet are the last person who needs to complain about forgetting stuff. With what you have to cope with I'm always in awe that you have the energy to complain at all. Anyway you didn't forget my bday you gave me a lovely message that I cherish and I know your lovely mum and dad understand too... I'm constantly forgetting important stuff but don't forget sweetie * whispers* we can pull the sympathy card and get away with it hee hee!

Seriously just the fact you've managed some better nights sleep negates all your worries about the small stuff that doesn't really matter... Concentrate on getting yourself well. You are the most important. I'm sorry I'm late posting my next chapter because I got waylaid this weekend but by tomorrow my love you will be winging your way to the 'cockof pit' to save your darling bundle of glittery sparkle. Promise!! :D

Kendra wrote: "Macky wrote: "...she was able to find out that adults who had Kawasaki Disease when they were children (which I did when I was 2) could possibly develop heart problems as adults."

I only found one study that suggested a link between Kawasaki Disease and heart problems later in life.

If you are a mouse and have been injected with actobacillus casei cell wall extract and then been fed a high fat diet for eight weeks you might be worried about hardening of the arteries because the only study I found was done in mice. See: http://atvb.ahajournals.org/content/e...

Some mice developed atherosclerosis (a build up of fats in the arteries.) So if you are not a mouse and you haven't been forced to eat high fat diet for two months you should not be too worried.

Even if you were a mouse fed fat for two months it is unlikely you would have have heart palpatations since less than 1% (exactly .67%) of people with atherosclerosis/arteriosclerosis get heart palpitations.

Take a look at your mother. If she has big ears, whiskers, a pink nose and a tail there is a possibility you are a mouse and might get hardening of the arteries and a less then one percent chance of that causing heart palpatations.

Hugs and squeaks, Lucas

Lol, I regret to mention the fact that Gabbo is the pornmeister and has a far more extensive collection of cop porn than I could ever hope to amass.

I am also aggrieved to inform everyone that Gabbo has kept quiet about his amazing powers of porn deduction. Post any pic of an adult movie star (obviously a very sweet and SFW picture - goodness me, get your minds out of the gutter!)and I guarantee that Gabbo will be able to sniff out his identity and quite often provide video evidence. I know this because I truly believe that Gabbo was sent to me by the porn fairies and he has never failed me yet.

Massive smooches to Gabbo.

Sure Roger, I can press the eject button and boot both of you out of the group if you don't want to be with Danni's favorite "pornmeister."

Unfortunately Zack would probably leaving in protest and you might take down his artwork so half of our 124 members would probably leave if they could no longer perv on Zack's sexy guys.

Wait, I have a better idea. I'll make you a moderator and then you can delete any postings you don't like including this one :-)

Good because Jesse is a bit scrawny on top. My husband-to-be is a phys-ed teacher and a coach and I'm about to get my doctorate in Physical Therapy so we could take Jesse to our gym and show him how to build up those wimpy biceps and build up the pathetic chest and get some real definition to his pecs. If that works we teach him the exercises we do to get our deep cut washboard abs.

Oh and some people here have seen Tom at his summer job. When his school is on summer vacation he's a life guard at a large indoor pool. And I think at least one of our members has seen us working out at the gym. But you guys shouldn't mind a little wait for pics when we officially become husband and husband and co-jocks for life.
