So I just finished 3 more books in the KGI series by Maya banks within 2 days. I love her

these stories are hot, first one is Maya Banks with a threesome of two cops and a blond waitress, and I just finished Karin Tabke's story about a spec op cop who protects his highschool sweetheart from her mafia husband. Hot and cute at the same time...

Sorry for my late response but I did a charity event this weekend with my brother and this is my first chance to get back online and really read through everything. Shari-amor I'm not much for romance and was hesitant to start the In Death series but it's more action then it is romance as the main character is a female homicide detective set just slightly in the future and I've found it highly addictive I have listened to the series about 4 times now. I will say that series is about the gist of my 'romance' novels...lol. I'm more into Crime dramas, paranormal, SciFi and murder mysteries.

You guys that don't have time to read really ought to check into audiobooks. I listen to mine while I surf the net, do housework, go shopping, take my dogs for walks, etc.

Not bad Manuela my collection is small compared to yours. I only have 493 digital books and I'm not sure on the ones on CD...lol. I think it's around probably 20 or 30 more though, that's my best guess.

Oh I'm with you Kim. Romance is not my favorite genre, I'm normally a horror fan and also suspense related genres. I love action and anything "dark." So I like my romance to have those elements if possible

If that's what you like you should try Kim Harrison's The Hallows series. Very dark you've got witches, demons, warlocks, ghosts, fairies, fae, werewolves, vampires and pixies. All set in the future (slightly) in Cincinnati, OH. You should check it out right now there is 11 books and the 12th and final (that's the claim anyways) book to be released next yr (if memory serves me right). I love Romance, historical Romance, contemporary Romance - that's how I came to SK!!! I know, I repeat myself but my first book was Brides and Vanes story and if that is not romantic - a guy walks into a store, makes love to the woman that is more my figure than the majority of heroines in all novels that I have read and makes her his for eva ~sigh~ - I don't know what is!!!!!!
I like vampires and I do love action as well but sometimes I just need that aaaawwwweeee, cute moment in my sorry life LOL.
If you want action and vampire and almost no sex (like the first kiss happened in the 3rd book if I believe right) try Jennifer Rardin and her Jaz Parks series... They are fun read and have a lot of action.

Oh and I understand about Vane. To be honest, Vane is in my top 5 favorite SK male characters. I loved that he actively persuaded Bride. He wanted her and he admitted that to himself. I absolutely love how he asked people how to date. My favorite part in his book.
