The author uses "Edward J. McFadden III" on the all the covers I could find, and also on his website, so the claimed profile should probably be edited accordingly?

They are both me, and this will be the 3rd time I've tried to get them merged. I have just released a new book and it's not showing up under the profile that I use. The first linked profile should have been merged a year ago.

(instead of, you know, having two profiles and linking to each other - in cases where an author publishes with multiple names)

No merge; the author prefers to use the shorter version of her name on the claimed profile.
