Written 5 with the 6th and final installment of the 30 Stones Saga on track for probably April 2021 release. Also started a new series as part of Nano last month.
I published a textbook, an international thriller, and several short stories. Also used to be a magazine and newspaper columnist. Currently working on two other novels.Story of a Stolen Girl
Six.The first one will NEVER be published (I burned it last week). Not up to my standards.
Second one was published but is now out of print.
My 4-book series is still available.
Working on a 7th, but it's like pulling teeth (Cliche! Cliche! Kill it!). We'll see.

My one and only novel, released on August 9, 2011, was available commercially until December 31, 2016, when the publisher went out of business and filed for bankruptcy - probably due to taking on too many authors like myself.During its 5 years and 4 months of existence, sales totaled 1,029 units (485 paperback books, 480 e-books, 36 audio books on CD, and 28 Audio downloads). Royalties paid to me totaled $2,358.34.
Although a commercial failure and not personally profitable, I have no regrets. Knowing that more than a thousand readers were willing to spend their hard-earned money on the work of an unknown, novice author made it worth the expenditure of time, energy, and financial investment.

After 30+ years (life happens!) of having Doodlebugs in my head I was finally able to get it onto paper the latter part of June 2020. Although the sales are lower than I would hope for it has received Five Stars (7 ratings). I'm learning that it's easier to write the story than it is to promote the book.I'm trying to not focus on the number of sales, but that those individuals who hear of the book and purchase it will enjoy reading the story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I am actually penning the novella series, "The Lone Mystery" of which the first installment has been released under the name The Lone Mystery: who is TUM?It was one helluva ride I must say. If you would've asked me 1 to 2 years back, I would've shrugged it off. I was doing well in life with a 9-5 job but 2020 was one weird year and had something else in store for me.
With the onslaught of Covid-19, everything has changed for me if not for all of us. I had been overlooking my passion till then thinking there was too much time to pursue it.
But looking at the devastation and the new bubble life the virus has brought upon us, I've changed my thought process.
We never know what's gonna happen tomorrow,
We may live on to tell the tale or succumb to the crisis we are in.
As said I overlooked the satisfaction I get through pursuing my passion but I realized I had to get it even if it means I had to scrape along.
That's what I exactly did. Scraped hard to become a self-published author and I am loving the process!
If you've come this far reading this, I just want you to understand that if life gives an opportunity even if it's a half-chance, grab it by the skin of your teeth.
All the best!
Regards,
Viswanath Lakshmisetty
As with any product or work of art, quantity is not nearly important as the quality of the work. One or two high-quality fiction or non-fiction books published by an author is far more likely to impress readers than several knocked-off during a relatively brief time span.Very few novice authors ever achieve notoriety or commercial success within this extremely competitive field. That said; some have. There is no reason why you might not eventually become one of them
Focusing upon a few high-quality works rather than numerous quickly written, poorly edited releases increases the chances of an author achieving their personally established goal. I wish you success.
Hello everyone! I have written one book:"Almanac: The Four Seasons"
It was published on December 15, 2020
I have few others in progress. Two poetry books, one memoir and two works of fiction
After four successful nonfiction books in my professional life, mental health, I made the leap and published the first in my psychology thriller series, Overnight Delivery: A Hank Anderson Thriller in my pen name, Raymond Parish. The response has been exciting and I'm working on Hank's sequel."Compelling and suspenseful, with likeable characters, Overnight Delivery offers an engrossing escape. An auspicious debut for a first time fiction writer."

I have written a medical book and several chapters in medical books. Since retirement, I have written 2 books, Certainty to Mystery in 2109 which is about neurology and religion and Speaking Out in 2020 which is a collection of sermons in the progressive Christian tradition. My autobiography from Barbed Wire to Moorland is due out later this year.
I've written six works of fiction described on my website, rhkohno.com. The last one, Starburst Over China, is about the attempted psychic manipulation of a Chinese intelligence agent with unexpected results. It is the third book of a trilogy of psychic thrillers featuring Jim Sato, a dedicated psychic cop.
I've self published one novel Doodlebugs.....A robotic mission to Mars to return samples to Earth. What could possibly go wrong? From a small-town Sheriff, to a soulless corporate CEO, to a survivalist, to nerdy engineers, to escaped felons and terrorists…they all intersect in the gripping page turner that will leave you sleeping with the lights on.Doodlebugs
In the process of working on my second novel.
Seven and counting. I have to thank my Literary Agency (Barone) for keeping track of what can be a bewildering situation. Hang in there Cynthia. Marketing seems to take time and more time!
One, and the marketing journey is a new experience. So much to learn and decide on for promoting the book. It's a learning curve, but I'm enjoying the challenge. https://store.bookbaby.com/book/Danci...
1 ½, I'm working on my next one. www.gold-lotus.comThe Gold Lotus: Thousands of Cupid's Arrows on the Battlefield of Love
Hi guys, I've published two novellas and five novels so far, with two more novels (completing a three book series) coming out this year. I didn't plan that, and it wasn't a big ambition. I just stumbled into it and discovered that I enjoy spinning stories.
I’ve written 2 books. The second is due out 28th February 2021 Mr Roberts’ House https://www.waterstones.com/book/mr-r...
I've written three and have started working on the fourth, just in the concept- plotting phase of another in my series of historical mysteries.
I've published 12 non-fiction books (law-related textbooks and trade books), 10 of which were published by traditional publishers, and five short fiction and poetry books (self-published). My first novel will be forthcoming in the late spring or early summer. Samples of my self-published publications (and the first ten chapters of my forthcoming novel), are freely accessible at https://www.wattpad.com/user/VictorDL....
Hello All,I am a newbie in this group and a first time published Author .My first book "Inspirational Quotes and 30 Days Affirmations" happened to be published in October 2020. My book is packed full of inspirational quotes and affirmations that would help sow seeds of positivity daily in the heart of the reader. I believe there is power in the words we speak and listen to this is why I wrote this book to help people. It's not been what I was hoping for because I was excited and anticipating (before the Pandemic) a book lunch after my book is published and some speaking gigs here and there but this has not been the case because of the lockdown. All the same, I am positive and optimistic that things will get back to normal. I joined this group because I want to share ideas with like minded and amazing people like you and learn alot on my journey of being an Author. Thank you for having me
