This book sucks I don't think I can finish it. How is this a 14 book series? The characters are one note and unlikable especially the women. How can every woman either absolutely hate men or be incompetent. How can the men stand to be manipulated and talked down to?

Just skim over it and the next one and you'll be rewarded.

Jordan tends to revisit the historical plot quite a bit throughout his books so taking a breaks will make for a much better overall experience.
