MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 5312 comments They put in in NYC. Yeah, no.

I'm a GRIT through and through.

colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2976 comments I got New England.

I sort of just randomly picked for some of the questions, though... like the book stores, none of which I'm familiar with.

MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 5312 comments I picked the bookstore randomly. I've not been to any of them and the best indie bookstores here weren't listed.

message 5: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (thenightowl) I did it twice. NYC the first time and New England the second time. Both correct in their own way since I'm from CT. I picked the bookstore randomly too.

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 860 comments I got New England as well. And randomly picked for the book store as well..

message 7: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) I knew a bit about the bookstores, but picked Prairie Lights, which probably confirmed their suggestion of Midwest for me. Which makes sense because that's where I grew up and where I want to retire to.
Lots of second choices... I should try again....

message 8: by Dawn, Dawnerys, Mother of Modding (new)

Dawn (breakofdawn) | 860 comments I picked the tattered something one. If there was a one with something about tattered in the name. Otherwise I have no idea what I chose :P

message 9: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) Oh Lordy. I got The South w/ my second choices. Fail.

message 10: by Ala (new)

Ala | 469 comments New England. I've never even been there.

Picked Powell's because it's the only one I recognized.

Michelle Kobus (rainbowsunset) | 123 comments I got New England. Never been there. :-/

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments I got Texas. Born there and lived there many years, though I've been transplanted to Georgia since.

I like it.

Oh, and the Tattered Cover is in Denver. I believe I'm friends with them on GR.

message 13: by Becky (new)

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I got: New England
You probably live in the Northeast, and you like your books to be as rich and complex as the history of your hometown. You know a bit about the classics, but you also have great taste when it comes to contemporary literature.

Pretty spot on.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments You got: Texas
Everything’s bigger in Texas, including your appetite for books! Long novels don’t intimidate you, and you love bold stories with colorful casts of characters.

Pretty spot on here too.

message 15: by HomeInMyShoes (new)

HomeInMyShoes I got The South.

"You’re from down South and enjoy books that feature strong family bonds. Reading helps you relax in the warm climate, especially in the hot summers, when books become your escape from the weather outside."

They got the escaping the weather outside part.

Apparently the air quality index is at about 16. 10 is considered extreme and you should think about not being outside. Forest firest some three hundred kilometers away are blanketing a couple of provinces and probably a few northern states with smoke right now.

It's been dry. It looks like a post-apocalyptic world out the window here. Apparently it's overcast and the drizzle/smoke this morning was weird.
