"Nah, I don't need two shops. One is plenty, thanks," Emerson rejected immediately. She smiled beneath her sleeve, though, fumbling around to turn on a light in the dark barn. She found one and switched the power on.

Emerson noticed some feed bags on the floor and pushed them aside, grabbing a brass ring attached to the floor. "Or, if the need arises, we could store ourselves. Or someone else." She peeked down into a small room hidden in the barn floor. "It's like a food storage place."

"Sure." Emerson quietly closed the cold cellar and shoved the bags over it again. She took Bones' hand and peeked out a dirty window in the barn to see Copper chasing something like a rabbit. She chuckled and moved along.

"Yeah, but she was probably just exaggerating because it was her mom's place," Emerson suggested, checking out the rest of the barn with Bones before walking back outside.

"I think we'll all do well here," Emerson added as she squeezed Bones' hand. "Want to head back inside? It's a little cold out here." She smirked and pecked the corner of his lips.

((Happy new year!))
Emerson's laugh at Crispin's exaggerated eyebrow wiggling was smothered by his kiss, but she didn't break it for a while to respond. She looked up at him for a moment before smirking. "Just this," she replied, pressing her lips more firmly to his.

Bones smiled, "Sounds good to me" he said and kissed her again, as he slowly deepened the kiss he picked her up. He slowly made his way to the stairs, being careful since he really didn't know his way aroundthe house yet.
Emerson kept her own weight as best she could, internally smirking at Bones' usual need to carry her around -when it came to kissing, anyway. She wrapped an arm behind his head for support, adding a bit more force to the kiss.

Emerson hummed softly into the kiss before parting her lips. She continued to deepen her kisses and brought a hand up to play with Crispin's hair, enjoying the feel of his soft curls.

Emerson looked up at Bones with a sort of curiosity as he came back in for another kiss. She parted her lips and pushed back at his kisses with the same intensity. After a moment she rolled them over so she was straddling his waist, giving off a strange -more nervous- laugh as she leaned back in for another kiss.

Emerson deepened the kiss even further, running her fingers through Bones' hair again and again. Goosebumps marred her flesh where he ran his fingers underneath his shirt and her breath caught, pausing the kiss for a moment.

Bones smiled against her lips and slowly pulled away to look down at her. He ran his fingers tips under her shirt, caressing the soft skin of her stomach. "We should probably, clean the house up a bit before the movers come tomorrow" he said, though from the look in his eyes he rather just stay in bed kissing her.
((No, they haven't. I figured we would just skip the writing of it, if that's okay. And later on, do we want her to get pregnant? Like the original plot line you had? Not right now, but maybe in a few months.))
Emerson smirked down at Bones, pulling her fingers away from his hair and lightly dragging her fingers over the top of his chest. "I thought we had decided the house was fine on it's own," she teased with an arched brow. She leaned down and pecked at his lips in between her every other word. "But, we should probably do a once-over... Just to be sure." She pressed her lips to his for a longer moment this time before pulling away. "If that's what you want." She smirked again.

Bones chuckled softly, "Screw the house" he said a d chuckled softly before rolling them back over so he was on top. He leaned down and kissed her, making it deeper and more passionate then their recent kisses. He pulled away a few moments later and smirked down at her, "We'll just hire a maid or something" he mutter before kissing her again, his hands slowly finding their way up her shirt.
((You want to just skip right now))
((Yeah))
The next morning Emerson awoke with her arm draped over Bones, holding him as close as she could -him possibly holding her tighter. She smirked and brushed her fingers lightly over his face, pecking a kiss on the corner of his mouth.
The next morning Emerson awoke with her arm draped over Bones, holding him as close as she could -him possibly holding her tighter. She smirked and brushed her fingers lightly over his face, pecking a kiss on the corner of his mouth.

Emerson's smirk grew, her hand dropping from Bones' face to drag down his sides lightly. "Glad to know it's effective," she replied, her voice rough from overnight disuse. "Morning, babe." She pressed her lips to his again before slowly pulling away. "I have a question."

"Well..." Emerson waited until he had situated the both of them, holding her hands at his chest and neck. "We never talked about what happened when we were separated. I want to know what you were doing," she explained slowly, looking away for a moment.

"Oh," Emerson murmured, not really sure just what she had been expecting. She quickly added, "I wasn't assuming you were sleeping with anyone." She had just brushed off not being allowed in the house; all that had mattered to her was getting out of town with Crispin.

Emerson rolled her eyes slightly at Bones' teasing, leaning back and resting on her palms to look at him. "Well, I was with the rebellion, you know. They mostly trained me, because apparently I was 'unfit for duty'." She held up her hand in the direction of her backpack and in slid towards them on the floor smoothly. "Their goal was to get up my charisma, agility, and unlock new powers," she told him mockingly, thinking the entire thing was ridiculous.

"Hey, I seem to have effectively won you over," Emerson pointed out. "I think that grants me some charisma points." She smiled and shrugged lightly. "I don't know how it works, honestly. It seems to differ from person to person, I guess." She leaned back towards Crispin and placed her hands on his waist. "Telekinesis, for one. They were working on trying to dig beneath the ice thing but we're going to train me some other way and never got to it."

"I didn't turn up randomly; they were threatening to bring your father in," Emerson reminded him. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed. "I thought about you every second. I couldn't get away fast enough to find you again." She frowned and shook her head just slightly. "I still feel like this is a simulation, or something. Okay, maybe not after last night."

Emerson was about to defend and tell him not to encourage the thought when she ended up nodding. "Plus, you would have probably said something stupid about yourself that I only originally thought about you; something you couldn't know." She smirked and traced his abs at the mention of them. "Or at least try to immediately tell me it isn't a simulation." She leaned forward and rested her cheek on his shoulder, closing his eyes for a moment.

Emerson's smirk broke into a laugh that shook her shoulders gently. "They couldn't have imagined to do so, of course," she broke in between the laughing. She pulled back and kissed Crispin before pulling away. "We should probably get ready before the movers come."

"I'm sure the movers would appreciate both views," Emerson commented back. She stayed in bed with Bones until he decided to get up, standing and stretching herself. She pulled a sweater and yoga pants from her bag and went to go take a quick shower, wanting a little bit of time to do another once-over of the house before their furniture came.

Emerson washed and then turned off the water, drying and dressing before heading downstairs to find Crispin. "Mm.. Smells good," she commented, hopping up on the counter to watch him with a smirk. "Anything I can do to help?"

Emerson chuckled and hopped off the counter, grabbing their current paper plates and utensils, setting them up at the bar-type counter since they didn't have a table yet. She then came up and wrapped her arms around Bones from behind, peeking at what he was doing from the side.

Emerson pulled back just to say, "Ooo.. don't mind if I do," only to press her lips to Crispin's again. She held the kiss for a little while before pulling away to look at what he had made for breakfast. "Good job," she commented, since usually he was the one to make food for them.

"Yummy." Emerson took her seat beside Bones and served the both of their plates, swerving in her seat so she faced Bones with her plate in hand. "Thanks."
