message 251: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Evelyn felt sick. All those people.....what had CAGE done?

Tyler was frowning as well. "Go back to the contents.. Maybe we can find out what CAGE did?"

message 252: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Luna scanned the page before they were taken back to the contents. "They have caught so many other Outsiders...but we never knew..." she murmured, her brain racing to understand. "What's so special about these Outsiders? Why did they announce them?" Guidon demanded.

message 253: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "Do you think it has anything .tp do with that weird spike we saw in their brain activity? CAGE seemed I interested too. it's obviously not something seen in the other ones...."

"What are you talking about?" Evelyn asked.

message 254: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Long story short, these Outsiders seem to have the ability to talk to one another in their minds," Guidon explained, glancing at the contents page. "They've been experimenting for a long time...and each Outsider has had more complicated ones performed on them too..." Guidon noticed.

message 255: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Tyler was frowning. This was wrong.... "What can we do though?" The two that they'd seen didn't seem bad at all. They were just scared, and after looking at this he couldn't blame them.

message 256: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Can we do anything? This is CAGE here, not just a random organisation..." Guidon murmured, shaking his head. "Why were they trying to do with these Outsiders? Just medical experiments?" Luna questioned to the boys.

message 257: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "That's what it seems like. They haven't really told us too much yet."

"So what exactly happened when you were there today?" Evelyn asked.

message 258: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "We can hardly explain to you what happened...it was all a blur and they didn't explain much to us either..." Guidon began, quite confused himself. He thought they needed more time to look for these answers.

message 259: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "It was a lot of stuff all at once. Maybe soon we can tell you more about it."

message 260: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "At least now you know what you need to be looking for," Luna told them, glancing once more at the papers. How much had their government been hiding from them?

message 261: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) He nodded. That was true.

"I doubt we'll get access to any more files like this. But if we do we'll let you know."

message 262: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "The question is, what do we do with this in the mean time?" Guidon wondered, looking down at the papers. Either they get rid of it in the most effective way or they keep it in case they'll need more answers.

message 263: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "I say we read them completely then shred them so no one knows."

message 264: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Okay, we should try to memorise as much as we can in sections - break the document up into even parts so we can all read our sections in private and destroy them separately. It'll be safer this way," Luna advised.

message 265: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Logan nodded, separating it about as equally as he could and distributing them. "Tomorrow meet to talk about what it says?"

message 266: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "That's fine. We should also destroy the papers separately," Luna agreed, trying to think of a unique spot to burn it after she was done. The papers felt heavy with importance in her hands.

message 267: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) ((Now I'm the forgetful one. XD I keep calling Tyler Logan.))

Tyler nodded. "That's what I was thinking. Least likely being seen that way."

message 268: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((Look at me noticing...))

"Alright. I'll read mines tonight and get it over with," Guidon explained, not being able to hide his anticipation. Luna nodded. She was going to go to sleep but she would rather get it over with.

message 269: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) ((XD))

Evelyn and Tyler both nodded, planning the same. Tyler wanted to learn as much as he could about these outsiders. And the two that they'd seen.....were they in danger?

message 270: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "What are you thinking Tyler?" Guidon questioned, seeing something cross his eyes. He was ready to depart from the library, their secret meeting unbeknownst to the compound officials.

message 271: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "I don't know....I just don't like it....what about the two that we saw? How long before they end up on a list like this?"

message 272: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Guidon grasped his shoulder and shook it gently. "We try as we may, but we are just learning the secrets to a much larger plan. Best not to give them too much attention."

message 273: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "Yeah...this has just got me thinking though. "

message 274: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Don't give it another thought," Guidon said, trying to make it light hearted as he turned onto his corridor.

message 275: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "I know there isn't really anything that we can do." Tyler shook his head, not sure what to think anymore. The Outsiders were still people, they understood, that much was evident from today. How CAGE could just kill them.

message 276: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Good night," Guidon bid, leaving Tyler to his thoughts as he went to his room. As interested in this as Guidon was, he was scared of the possibility of the Outsiders' humanity and it was better left quiet than said aloud in his opinion.

message 277: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) ((Want to skip to next day or something?))

message 278: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((Sure. Breakfast then?))

Luna walked into the hall, refreshed from the night before but still slightly on edge. The papers were sitting like a black mark in her room. She'd get rid of it when everyone had begun class to avoid suspicion. Guidon entered after her and picked up his food tray.

message 279: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Evelyn had already destroyed her papers after reading them. She was sitting down already, waving Luna and Guidon over when she saw them enter.

Tyler came in not long after, grabbing his food.

message 280: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Luna sat next to Evelyn, feeling it strange to be seated next to people she wouldn't even have considered two days ago. "Good morning," she greeted. Guidon seemed to be at ease with everything, eating and drinking freely.

message 281: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "Morning." Evelyn replied,

Tyler joined them soon after getting his own food. "You guys have your internship again today?" He asked the girls.

message 282: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Yep. Tempted to say it'll be boring but who knows?" Luna murmured with a casual shrug. "Well ours will definitely be something," Guidon suggested, nudging Tyler.

message 283: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "We can meet you guys later tonight?" Tyler suggested. "Tell you what happens?"

message 284: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Of course. Same time, same place as yesterday?" Luna agreed with a firm nod. As frightening as this whole venture was, she wanted to know more.

message 285: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Tyler nodded. "yeah, sounds good."

message 286: by Giulia (new)

Giulia 'All interns please report to the landing area. Departure is in ten minutes,' an announcement rang over the intercom, forcing them to finish their meal quickly. As Guidon stood, he noticed people were looking at them. Of course - they had a privileged position.

message 287: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Tyler shifted a bit uncomfortably from all the attention, trying to ignore it as he quickly finished up to head to the landing area.

message 288: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Luna and Guidon hurried after him, eyes on the floor as they did to avoid the younger years' looks. At the landing station, the two hovercrafts were present - this was where the boys and girls had to split.

message 289: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) "We'll talk again tonight after dinner." Tyler said to the girls as he and Guidon went to their own hovercraft.

Evelyn nodded, excited for that night to hopefully find out more about everything that was going on.

message 290: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Luna followed Evelyn and strapped herself in for the ride, wondering if today could be as possibly exciting as yesterday was.

Guidon boarded after Tyler, nodding to Raleigh who was there to debrief the schedule of the day to them.

message 291: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Tyler also nodded to him, hoping that they'd get mote time with the outsiders today.

message 292: by Giulia (new)

Giulia Raleigh glanced between the pair of them and handed them their schedules for the rest of the week. "Note the last day requires a presentation from the both of you about your time at CAGE so get working on that."

message 293: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) Tyler took it but was frowning. was this really only until the end of the week? he'd been expecting it to .br much longer.

message 294: by Giulia (new)

Giulia "Well boys, it is a challenge. Keep those eyes peeled and ask the right questions. Who knows what good things it could get you?" Raleigh suggested with a shrug. Guidon hid his inward smile at the irony.

message 295: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (fantasynerd365) ((Want to do things from the twins perspective for awhile again?))

message 296: by Giulia (new)

Giulia ((Sure))
