Vespers9 | 45 comments I was one of those kids who read all the required books I was supposed to read in school and in university. My sister, however, had a suggested reading list that she'd kept from high school and I chose Catch-22 off that list because I've been meaning to read it for an age.

Biblio Curious (bibliocurious) I'm reading also. It's a great book for short spurts because it seems like a jokebook. I also somehow get sucked in and read for like 100 pages at a time because the logic is just so wacky. I saw snippets of the movie on youtube and it's hilarious!!! Overall, I recommend it as a must read for people who don't take books to serious or who do and are willing to dig in and find out how the pieces fit together.

Vespers9 | 45 comments I'm just over half way through Catch-22, and it's great! Like you, I love the humour and I am really enjoying a lot of Heller's commentary about the absurdity of war.
