I liked Poppy best since she was the "strong one" even if she didn't feel like it. I really didn't like Eleanor. Seriously, she got herself into this big mess and couldn't really get herself out. Christian could have been better developed because seriously, I was so confused with him the entire time I was reading the book. It was hard to get a bearing of who he was really into and who he actually was. But it was a great book! :D
I agree I loved Poppy, didn't feel much sympathy for Eleanor. Favourite male character wasn't Christian, though. It was actually Eleanor's love interest, he seemed so much more aware and I think we just go to know him more. I'm sorry I can't remember his name, I got the book out of the library so can't go and check. Roger? Seems familliar... I think Maria could have been better developed because I felt like most of the book she was being jealous and I didn't know her very much. The idea for the book was so amazing! It had quite a few twists and I love the way Cinderella didn't want prince charming!
Yeah, that was pretty ingenious the twists it had. Roger (that is his name) was a more developed and likeable character, and I was sad that he ended up with Eleanor instead of maybe one of Poppy's sisters. And I totally agree. Her friend was a little one dimensional and underdeveloped. I seriously couldn't tell the difference between her being under the spell and out of it. She behaved the exact same way. The only thing I didn't like with the book was that it was more about Eleanor than Poppy but the whole mysterious angle of Cinderella was enjoyable. I sort of didn't get what happened with Maria's father and the Corely. They had a deal and stuff happened and in the end, it ruined Eleanor?
I think it's because Maria's father won so much money from Eleanor's that Eleanor's family was completely broke. Then, because Maria's father managed to avoid the Corely getting Maria she set her sights on Eleanor.
Oh, that makes sense. That's so weird though. If he knew about how dangerous the Corely was, why didn't he step in and REALLY explain to everyone what was up? It probably could have changed everything and made the end battle (which was incredibly confusing) more...coherent. :)

If someone suddenly told me that every time they lost money to him it was one big sham
Yeah, I guess so...This book was still really good. If you liked it, maybe these will interest you. They kinda have the magic/faerie-tale twist thing going on:

Awesome! I actually read this book because a friend said it was similar to those books. There's a second one to Fair Godmother that's also pretty awesome if you want to check it out. The protagonist is active like in Princess of Glass and not pathetically sitting around, waiting to be rescued, but it's still a romance. (You should check out your local library if you're hesitant to buy it, but I promise, it's a great buy.) :)

Who was your least favorite? Why?
Who do you think could've been better developed? Why?
Sorry for so many whys but I'm a very curious person and I ask why... a lot.
