thanks. my mom just told my dad she's been thinking about it for a long time, but now she thinks she wants a divorce. after 30 years knowing each other and 28 years being married. the worst part is, my family didn't start having problems until we moved and mom was always home. so was it always doomed to fail knowing that it only worked when mom wasn't at home as much? what do you think?

hey, dont be to sad about it. Just a couple weeks ago, my parents said they were going to split up. I was really sad, but the next morning, they said they didn't want us to be that sad. I know it doesn't end like that for everyone, but don't be to sad about it.
There isn't really anything that you CAN do about it. It's not your fault if they do
