Lia Nicole This discussion is dwindling to a hault

message 5769: by Tettey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Tettey shhh. don't go making people believe they actually have a real chance to win

message 5770: by [deleted user] (new)

I am in the lead! Ha ha!

You know, this sort of thing could last literally weeks... I get the feeling that there are some people out there who will stop at nothing to win.
You know, the best strategy is this:

Bore everyone. Don't comment. Then when everyone loses interest...comment!

Stephanie exatcly

message 5772: by [deleted user] (new)

Yup.

message 5773: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole Lol. I will dominate this discussion!!!

Stephanie noooo!

message 5775: by Naomi (new) - rated it 5 stars

Naomi Marshall you do realize this has been going on for more than a month right?

message 5776: by Tettey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Tettey actually the desire for socialization in humans trumps the desire for domination, so most people would rather have somebody respond to them than be the winner.

Translation: nobody really wants to win.

Stephanie true

message 5778: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole @Tettey wow... wonna be friends? Lol. :)

message 5779: by Tettey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Tettey if you can deal with the fact that i was a really Great philosopher in a past life, add me.

message 5780: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole Hmmm... which philosopher?

message 5781: by Tettey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Tettey my recollection's a bit fuzzy but i think i remember plato was a student of mine

Stephanie GR?

message 5783: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole When you say recollection, you mean memory or findings? What are the clues that in a past life you were a philosopher?

message 5784: by Tettey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Tettey well every now and then i have a profound thought that i didn't think.(at least not in this lifetime)

and every now and then when i concentrate really hard, i can see myself in a greek toga with a great white beard

message 5785: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole And you're being completely truthful? You're not pulling my leg?

message 5786: by Naomi (new) - rated it 5 stars

Naomi Marshall Um... that's weird

message 5787: by [deleted user] (new)

Hehehe...Plato's teacher was Socrates. Were you Socrates, Tettey? If so, lets be friends! Befriending Socrates is sure to have some perks...

Lol. that is a good point. Will someone inform me on who Pluto is???

message 5789: by [deleted user] (new)

Plato was a great philosopher, Lia, from Ancient Greece. He was the student of Socrates and the teacher of Aristotle.

Stephanie Pluto..a planet..and theres a roman god Pluto...thats all i know

Thanks. That clears things up.

message 5792: by Tettey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Tettey Indeed i do believe i was father of it all. Perks a-plenty. add me

@Lia, not serious of course

message 5793: by [deleted user] (new)

No problem, Lia. I'm learning about Greek philosophers at the moment, you see.

message 5794: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole Lol. I know :) but crazy and unrealistic conversations are the best of them all.

message 5795: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmm. Why is this under the Hunger Games? Only wondering.

Who's seen the movie? I watched it for the 3rd time today.

message 5796: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole I saw it. I loved the movie. I did not like the experience. Everyone in the theatre were on their phones texting away...

message 5797: by Tettey (new) - rated it 3 stars

Tettey i've seen it, liked it, but i have to confess i liked the book better, but then i always like books better.

message 5798: by [deleted user] (new)

What did you think of Peeta? Everyone seems to like the actor, but my friend and I think he's terrible!
I liked the Capitol fashions. They were suitably bizarre.

message 5799: by Lia (new) - rated it 4 stars

Lia Nicole Books have more imagination to them.

message 5800: by [deleted user] (new)

They do. The thing about watching movies of books is that you never think of the book the same way again. For example, Harry Potter. Now when I think of Hermione, I see Emma Watson.
