R. Billing (r_billing) | 196 comments Run from the Stars

Space opera, military, adventure, espionage, and some really good restaurants.

If anyone would like to read and review my novel, and get to know the unconventional Lieutenant Jane Gould, please PM me for a free review copy.

Jane gets results, often not the expected ones, by methods that leave senior officers wondering just what is happening to Space Fleet. Who diverts a spaceship by over a thousand lightyears to take a friend to a restaurant? Who dances the night away with a primed energy weapon tucked down the front of her dress?

Meet Jane.

Lizzie | 303 comments I recently joined the space opera group and just got around to reading the R2R thread. This hasn't been archived so I am wondering if a copy to read and review is still available?

If you don't get a quick response, you might try going to the author's profile and message them?

R. Billing (r_billing) | 196 comments Certainly, if you'd like to PM me with an e-mail address and preferred format I'll send you a copy.

Welcome to Jane's world. I think you'll like it.

Anna Erishkigal (annaerishkigal) Hi R! You'll tend to generate more interest if you post a LARGE copy of your book cover right at the top of your post. Grab the cover link from your book page or someplace else (like Pinterest), and then 'edit' your original post, drop in that link, click 'some html ok', and copy the html code to link to an image. Now adjust the width="400" height="600" to make it nice and big.

Thanks, done it.

Victoria (bookwurm788) | 9 comments Hi R. Billing,

Your character Jane sounds interesting and I would like a chance to review your book. I will send you my email address via PM if you are agreeable. Also, I noticed that Amazon has a sequel listed. I would be interested in reviewing that one as well when it becomes available.

Vicky

R.,
I'm new to Goodreads, how do I PM (private message?) you to review your book? I don't want every Tom, Dick, and Harriet to see my contact information. I looked in the Goodreads Help section but I didn't find what I was looking for.

Vicky

Anna Erishkigal (annaerishkigal) Hi R:

Ray Takek contacted me because he couldn't find the discussion thread again. He posted his review HERE for you:

Thanks Ray!

R. Billing (r_billing) | 196 comments Thanks, Anna. And thanks Ray for the review.

Fiannawolf | 163 comments Loved the opening chapters. She has uummm... interesting luck. Ill look into reading the next one soonish. Within the next month or so. Actually the world building seems rather robust. Reminds me of Dune in some cases.

Thanks for that. The worldbuilding for the series took something like ten years, then Jane bounced in and told me the plot.

R. Billing (r_billing) | 196 comments Quick! Read it now while it's still fiction...

Seriously, thirty years ago when I started writing the Jane stories I guessed that there were lots of potentially habitable exoplanets. This has just happened:
