Oh no, Becky! I'm sorry but I know exactly how that goes! I am missing my city of Bones book that I bought LONG ago and never read. When I was going to read it I couldn't find it and had to get it from the library. I also sometimes buy two books by accident. LOL

Reading City of Bones in print, just finished Clockwork Angel on audio - don't you LOVE the narrator? I'm going to see if the library has the next one on audio as well since I'll be driving 2 hours there and 2 hours back to visit my daughter on Saturday!

That is what I do. I always have an audio book in my car, so I'll listen to a book on my 5 minute drive back and forth to school. Bits and pieces add up! LOL

Finished! and OMG!! I LOVED this book so much! It had so much in it that I wasn't familiar with and that I sure didn't expect!

I didn't have time to post as I read because I had another book to read today and about half of this one to finish. So sorry for the post at the end. I can't remember what all happened when, so don't read my posts until you've finished the book.

Clary (view spoiler)[and Jace are brother and sister? Say what! Did I miss something somewhere because that totally blindsided me! What's going to happen in book 2? (hide spoiler)]

For some reason I really, really liked Jace! He is (view spoiler)[honest and straightforward. He was pretty strong. I mean he saw his own father killed, or so he thought, by those two guys and then he ends up adopted. I guess because of all that he was pretty cynical where love is concerned. I'm glad that finding out about Clary being his sister didn't destroy him because they were already falling in love. (hide spoiler)]

I felt sorry for (view spoiler)[Simon when he walked in on Jace and Clary. He'd loved her for so long, but thank God he walked in or they might have ended up having sex, and that would have been gross. (hide spoiler)]

Poor Alec (view spoiler)[loved Jace and was only pretending to maybe like Isabella. This reminds of Shakespeare story lines. LOL (hide spoiler)]

Oh and Simon (view spoiler)[turned into a rat? Was that supposed to be symbolic? LOL (hide spoiler)]

Valentine (view spoiler)[REALLY was not a good guy at all! He didn't care that children were being killed for his cause. Most of those who fought for him died. Ugh...he kidnapped Jocelyn and killed her parents too. What wouldn't this guy do? (hide spoiler)]

I wasn't expecting werewolves, ghosts, rats, shadowhunters, witches, mundanes, the whole gamut of beings that were in this book. I want more!
