Your request made me smile. I miss the stories where a heroine isn't the super strong type and eventually she comes into her own, but yes, she's still quiet rather than kick-butt. I wrote one stoey, a Viking romance, but it's not out until June...so that won't fit your request (which was awhile ago).

ANyway, I'm glad to see others who want a quiet, shy heroine with the alpha male. Did you end finding any in historical romance that fit your request? Please let me know. I'd love to read them.
