You can start a task 2 today but in order to count for task 2 you'd have to finish tomorrow.

I read book 2 yesterday...it was clear that something happened in book 1 that I should have been aware of. I would say don't read it out of order...but I needed a green book so...
I think book 5 is peter pan retelling, so I will just jump to that one next.
Basically, you should read in order. I am NOT doing that because I don't care about the series enough.

Don't confuse me Jenne. you know I am easily muddled. Above response seems incorrect as Tomorrow is July 1.
Any books finished tomorrow should count towards Task 3--right?

This is probably asking too much but I thought I'd check anyways :) What if you have a book that has a pink cover with a male and female on it but an alternate cover has no pink but just one male. Can we use both covers and claim it as pink and claim it for the mini-challenge?

I think you're mixing up mini challenges and tasks. Task 2 starts July 1, mini challenge 3 starts july 1

Ok if anyone would rather see the transition from task 1 to task vs me explaining it lol :)I just finished updating my team. Here's what our spreadsheet looks like and here's the recap for our team https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I know I remember this question being asked before but I can't remember the answer...Does it have to be a retelling or can it be a new fairytale?...ie
If it's been shelved as a fairy tale at least 5 times or it it's on a fairy tale listopia. I'm gonna go take a quick peek at it.
So as of what's turned in to the finished tasks thread here's where everyone is at.Sleeping Beauty 5750
Red Riding Hood 7020
Little Mermaid 6430
Beauty & the Beast 5540
Peter Pan 8460
Snow White 4640
Cinderella 4915
**If anyone has a teammate that hasn't checked in, in over a week please let me know**
Jenne, for this book:
there is red on the cover but all the editions seem to be under 150 except one that says 206. Can I use it even with all the varying lengths?
Jenne, Sallie read a book which was large print so obviously had more pages than the regular book. Should I do the Page Number points it as if it were the regular one?
Jenne wrote: "Yes we had a case of that earlier this week, just post both covers so you're covered."
I don't think that's fair to use two covers. People should be limited to one cover.

Is it OK if I find a book tagged Demons, and it will work for the task. If so how many times does it have to be tagged?Ex:
is tagged demons 27 times, is that enough?
Lauren wrote: "Jenne, would the Others in
qualify as demons?"Lauren I don't remember there being demons in that one, but it's been a long time since I read it. I know lots of us have read it around here, anyone remember demons being in it?
Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ wrote: "Jenne~Can I use

Anita wrote: "Is it OK if I find a book tagged Demons, and it will work for the task. If so how many times does it have to be tagged?Ex:

Jenne wrote: "Yeah SM MacLeod is one word. I need to catch up with the last couple on that one."
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Well, it's a PKC rec from Shy, so I gotta listen to it.
thanks Jenne

Nah, I don't think it specifically said they were demons. We'll find something else. Thanks.
Quick question. so I read a book that's 176 pages but the actual book was only 60% of that the rest was excerpt from other books that author has written. can I count this book if I read the excerpts?
Jenne, Kayla's book Finding Cinderella isn't shelved as a retelling but she says it is like a modern day Cinderella story. Can we still claim it as a fairytale retelling or does it need to be shelved as such?
If it's obviously a retelling without being shelved it's cool. I'd its iffy and no shelving I wouldn't.

It's not long enough (pages)

Jenne, if a book had a homecoming queen mentioned in it, would that be enough for our "Evil Queen" main task?
Does redhead Count for red? Also if the main characters last name is Castle does that count towards the MC?
