I have made all my thoughts known elsewhere already. *shrugs* And my brain is full of other things.
Queenly things happen. And dragons are probably awesome or awful or more likely both. And there will be cameos from characters I like. And... depth and romance and emotion and a war... My current speculations are quite vague.
Ok. My brain is slightly less full of other things, so . . . let's see what I've got. I guess I never did do much speculating about Cost or Song. I should fix that. (Be aware: there will be spoilers for Worth in here.)I'm pretty sure that one of the two is set in whatever world the dragons were sent to at the end of Worth. I'm going to guess that it's Song, but I could be wrong.
I'm wondering if Cost occurs after the epilogue of Worth, once Amber's turned evil, in which case she would be the oppressive queen who the sisters are opposing. If that's the case, I will probably cry a little inside. I enjoyed pre-scale Amber and Amberite in Worth and I want more of it.
I know Kendra showed me the chat story/RP/whatever that formed the basis of Song at some point, but I don't remember much of it, nor do I know how much help that memory would be. I'm pretty sure that the title comes from some kind of song that can . . . control the dragons, maybe? But I could be totally wrong.
I'm also going to guess that Goldi and Advar are twins, though I have exactly 0 evidence to support this guess other than the fact that Kendra likes twins.
I just realized my speculations above could apply to basically any of the published books. :P at least I know the pattern so far?That said, new books will probably turn that on its head. ;)
I have a few definite ideas for my expectations for Song, but they are not yet formed enough to put into words. I shall likely post when I’ve though them through.
So, don't know if this is a speculation, buuuuut is there a chance that Sarah and Robert might end up together? Maybe in LaM? Or is their relationship more of a brother-sister thing? I was thinking that it might work out cause both of them have been to Rizkaland and know what each other went through, and it would be extremely difficult(probably impossible) to marry someone who didn't even know Rizkaland existed. Who knows...maybe they'll both stay single.
