The Dewey Andreas series has many interesting influences. The writing style is Hemingway, the over the top action set-pieces evoke Matthew Riley, and the politics are of the Flynn+Thor school.
Overall, barring the research errors, it's what a thriller should be at its base components. Fast paced, entertaining and having that "fun factor".
