Hey! I've got some requests here

1. Please merge the other two editions into the one with the ISBN. They're all the same Portuguese edition, part of what appears to be a collection: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio... (I couldn't find exactly when the edition was published, but it seems to be somewhen between 1999 and 2001).

2. These two seem to be the same edition: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio... Similar cover & publisher, as well as a page count difference that could easily be a typo (please merge the edition into the one with the ISBN).

3. This alleged Kindle edition doesn't really seem to exist https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio... I separated these two together because of the cover, but I'm not really sure into which edition the fake one should be merged.

4. One of the ISBNs seems to be a typo of the other: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

5. One of these has a fake ISBN: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

6. This edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... has no useful information besides the fact that it is in Portuguese. I think it's okay to merge it with the main one.

#788, it's Goodreads policy not to delete any book that was in publish. This is because there will be people who actually own the book, and have rated and reviewed it. We can combine editions, create new ones, but I don't think in this case they can be deleted because of a publisher dispute. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, someone! :D

I see. That's somewhat frustrating. Can we rename the books, perhaps? It will be a bit of an odd situation if the book picked up by a publisher and there are two versions of it. Is that helpful for anyone?

We do not remove or alter data if it is, or has ever been correct, but as an author you can set the new editions of your books as primary so they will come up in searches and show up on your profile, instead of the old ones which have been shelved more. Working on #792 done! I also deleted the empty default edition. When it's just empty like that, I just delete it, but if it has format information, then I separate it out with the second default, as merging into the second default doesn't always work...!

#818 - I'm not a super librarian so I don't have the power to do this, but I'm positive that they wouldn't do it anyway. As goodreads is a cataloging site aimed at readers, rather than a booksellers site aimed at buyers, we retain information about all published works - just because there'll be someone out there who has your book on their shelf (physical or otherwise!) Hope this helps :)
