Irrelevant. Publishers frequently have multiple editions that appear identical. Valid ISBNs; both stay.

I've got another one, and this is a bit of a mess.

This edition has all the correct data and cover, bar ISBN: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...

That's because this edition has the correct ISBN (but someone added any old cover to it at some point): http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/89...

I wouldn't have any idea what to do with that situation, but I'm sure the Supers here do.

Moloch | 3975 comments Someone edited it giving it the ISBN of the 2011 edition (and now the cover and the date are wrong): but we can't be sure that the 24 users that shelved it didn't want the 2010 edition. I don't know what to do now: I cannot message all of them asking it.

I guess this is not the correct procedure with duplicates.

When I reported it a few hours ago, it didn't have a ISBN and I'm quite certain that it was a duplicate of this: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...

Then someone added the ISBN of another edition, but now the publication date and the cover don't match with the current ISBN.

Should I correct cover and date and amen (regardless of the version the 24 users that shelved it wanted), or should it be deleted?

The publisher and other websites have the ISBN listed as hardcover and I found nothing about a paperback edition, so I moved the ISBN to the hardcover.
