Those have different covers
Do we know if the one with the whole pie was a pre-release version?

This:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17...
can be deleted and merged with:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
They are separated and the main title can be recombined with the other Sjöjungfrun editions once merged.
Also, I have a question about this series. I have been maintaining this author and series for some time (because of the diacriticals there are often errors, both in author and book entries).
The author actually refers to it (on her own site, FB, etc.) as the Fjällbacka series, but it has been on Goodreads as the Patrik Hedström series since before me, so I left it that way, including the series info in every title as well (which helps me track when a new book has been added and do a quick info check).
However, someone has recently changed the entire series name to the Patrik Hedström and Erica Falck series. (He's a detective, she's his journalist wife--they fight crime!).
I get why it may have been changed (they are both prominent characters), but it seems a bit cumbersome now. I'm wondering if it should be changed back to the original, or changed to Fjällbacka (which is the town the series takes place in) or whether to have two series listed?
I'm not sure how this affects search. Unfortunately, since there are diacriticals in all these options people are sure to still have problems finding this author and books.
Thoughts from the powers-that-be?

Not sure about the series, but I would think that the author's naming would take precedence.

There is no such book and in fact this is a Twilight fanfiction story, still posted on fanfic.net, using the copywritten characters Bella and Edward.

289: There's nothing else with a publisher of "Inkhouse"; I can't find any information about Inkhouse, though, so that may be a mistake.

In either of these two editions
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12... (ebook)
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13... (Kindle)
The uploader of the 1st entry did not indicate the format she is referring to so I leave it to the super librarian to decide which edition this should be merged into.

The cover looks different to me, not just the pink versus red, but there is more text. Not sure if it supposed to be an alternate cover edition, or just missing an ISBN.

And I have a quick question though off-topic but with regards to this book as well. One of the authors is listed as Joel R. Primack on all of the covers except on the British edition which shows his name as Joel Primack. What should be done about it? For reference, this is the edition in question:

We don't delete books.
You can have your old pen name, Grainne Maher, on the books as well so that your readers can find them under both of your identities. Shall we do that?
EDIT: there is also another book "The body in the lake" by "Grainne Maher" which is presumably the same work as "Montague Hall" by "Noreen Mayer".

The book already exists in its proper language (Greek) here http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/17... .

One seems to be in English and the other in Greek so they don't seem to be duplicates. I've combined them.
The ISBN you moved to the Greek edition appears to belong to the English edition. You might want to check your source and consider moving it back.

There is no English edition.
There are many books imported into Goodreads from external databases with the correct ISBN* but in "Greeklish" - that is, Greek text in the Latin alphabet.
When a Greek user attempts to add the book in Greek, the ISBN is already "taken" by the imported book entry that is in Greeklish.
Edited to add: My request in msg. #303 still stands.

In addition, the "English" one had been added by zero people. I have merged the editions.

Someone else seems to have merged it.

Does the edition listed as paperback (no ISBN, I suspect the format is incorrect) stay (we don't delete it)? I understand the book has only just been published as a hardcover in Italy.
thanks for your help

We have a little problem with "war and peace", edition in PT-BR of this publisher (cosac naify):
1 - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
2 - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
3 - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...
4 - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16...
5 - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
There are 5 itens listed when there's actually only 2 (one ed. comes with a leather cover, and the second has hardcover, an economic version). Please, keep #1 and #4 and delete the others. Thanks
