Up to chapter 24 (view spoiler)[ Iko is so funny! I love that she is now the ship, it kind of suits her personality. Scarlet and Wolf are cute but I think she is a little to trusting. I know he's helping her but he could just be luring her back to Paris to torture her like her grandmother. If Scarlets grandad is Lunar that makes her part Lunar too, interesting. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 36 (view spoiler)[ Wow, this is intense! That creepy room they found at the farm gave me the creeps, if I was Cinder I would have legged it the other way. So weird to think they didn't operate on her until she was eleven. I forgot the fire happened when she was three. I'm glad to see Wolf still cares about Scarlet, it's not going to be easy for her to escape though and he should know that Scarlet will go and get her grandmother first. (hide spoiler)]

I'm loving Scarlet's story, especially with her father mysteriously turning up, but I feel like as a series it might work better if it had been only Cinder? (view spoiler)[Seeing this side of Levana is just really eye opening. I knew she was misreading Evert's intentions, but seeing it happen was just so sad. She is so lonely and just doesn't know how to relate to other people or connect with them. (hide spoiler)]

And a lot of the time with an ending like this, where every thing wraps up nicely, I feel like there should have been more loss or at least more realistic outcomes. Okay due to an awful week at work I am only on Chapter 8, but can we just take a moment to fall in love with Jacin Clay and his budding relationship with Princess Winter... OMG Swoon.

In fact all of the relationships in this series are just overly adorable... I can tell this is a series I will re-read again again if only for the cute romance. Although there are so many more great reasons.

Anyway, back to reading!!

Just finished Parts 1 & 2... This story is so anxiety inducing....

(view spoiler)[I was actuality convinced that Jacin was going to hurt Winter and not tell her he was ordered to kill her so she hated him. But of course Jacin is amazing and handled the whole situation like a boss. And the reuniting of Wolf and Scarlett... Swoony Swoon.

But on to the actual story, I am really captivated by the descriptions of the world, I find myself getting lost in them and imagining the surroundings. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Alright I finally finished! What a hectic few weeks.

I loved this!! what an absolutely beautiful story. I especially loved the Hierarchy system towards the end. It is very rare to find a YA that handles a political system the way the lunar chronicles did.

Oh and Cress and Thorne FINALLY getting together was just perfection.

This book was actually a lot less predictable than i thought it was going to be. I mean we all knew Levana would be overthrown, but I was surprised by how often Cinder managed to storm toe castle and how much action was actually involved in the novel. Usually a YA will have just the end climax and only one lot of reuniting between the characters, but I was on edge so often during Winter. I could not cope with how often our friends got separated, at one point I had to stop reading because i could see it coming and was just not prepared!

Anyway.. absolutely loved this story. 5 out of 5 (just like all the others really. (hide spoiler)]
