Emmy Kuipers I finished the Black Magician Trilogy, a light, easy read with a thouroughly disappointing end. 'The Blade Itself' is my next on my list. I only need a quiet moment to start.

message 52: by LaTrica (new)

LaTrica Finished The Warrior Queens by Antonia Fraser. Moved on to The Ill-Made Mute. Read it before and loved. Appreciating it more on this read.

I've been distracted by Martha Wells The Cloud Roads. And as I decided to complete series rather than let them like up, I read on. Now on part three. Enjoying them a lot, particularly the non-human characters.

message 70: by Joseph (new)

Joseph | 1651 comments Wrapped up The Sword of Shadows by Adrian Cole, which was reasonably entertaining, and started Railsea by China Miéville, from which I'm expecting great things.
