GR Author Suzanne^^Lilly is here: http://www.goodreads.com/book/combine... I just moved two books to her profile from Suzanne^Lilly http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/... which is now empty.
Not sure if there is a reason she has two spaces, but if she's the only one it seems like it would cause more trouble than anything else! I checked similar names from the 1^ profile and only those two profiles came up.

DO NOT merge author profiles in different languages. Doing so undoes hours of work by other librarians. In any case, neither of those profiles has been claimed, so any discussion of how to deal with those profiles belongs in a different thread.

Hi...can the two Mickey Zucker Reichert author pages be merged? The second only has one book on it and the MZR listed there is the same as the MZR of the first page:1st: http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

If I switch the book on the 2nd record to the 1st, can the 2nd record then be deleted? If yes, can I do the deletion or is there a thread for a super or staff to do it?

For any other author profile merges or edits, please start a separate thread.
Jen, a claimed profile means the Goodreads author has "claimed" it, i.e. become a Goodreads author (and that appellation will appear after their name in parentheses). Claimed author profiles go in this thread. Unclaimed author profiles can (usually) be merged by librarians and don't go in this thread.I merged the profiles for you. What you do is pick the profile that is more complete (has biographical data, or an author photo, or fans) and merge the other profile into the more complete one. In this case the two author names looked identical to me so I copied and pasted the destination author name into the other profile. That brings up a page asking you if you want to merge one profile into the other; if you are sure you're doing it right you click on the author profile you intend to keep. It's not really a deletion so much as a merge; this ensures that all reviews on both profiles are retained.

I really appreciate it. :-) And thanks also for fixing it so that Mickey Zucker Reichert is in the GR database once and has all her titles under her name. :-)

Neither is a claimed profile, so the request does not belong in this thread. Regardless, it does not appear that all those books belong to a single author, so a merge would not be appropriate.
