Jessa Callaver (jessa_callaver) | 38 comments Whoops. Guess I should have posted here what I posted in on the other topic. :/

So, here I go again...on my own... (Sorry, been hearing that one waaay too much lately)

Name is Jessa, nice to meet everyone. I'm a writer, reader, indie author and have been penning fiction for about 2 years now.
I love winter, dislike cold fingertips and...honestly at the moment, can't think of one interesting fact about myself. lol

Some of my favorite books would be I Capture the Castle - just finished it! ... Dangerous Liaisons...Redmond O'Hanlon's Trawler...Barbara Ehrenreich's Nicke and Dimed...Bishop Spong's The Sins of Scripture...Richard Wright's Native Son...Christian Parenti's Lockdown America.

Favorite songs: Toto's Africa, Richard Marx's Right Here Waiting for you, L7's You Make My S*$# List...

Favorite movies would have to include Labyrinth, Gentlemen Broncos, The Great White Hope, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Legend, The Straight Story, Office Space, Eve's Bayou...

Nice to meet everyone! :)

Ehm, hello! My name is Kathryn and I'm 23 years old.
I'm from little town in Moscow Region, Russia. But you may simply consider it as Moscow.
Well, It's pretty obvious that I like to read. Also I like horse-riding, fencing and good music. For example something like Ayreon, Poets of the Fall, Enya and old Nightwish. Can't say anything about movies except that I don't like "The Twilight" saga and "Prometheus". And I must admit that my music and reading tastes are strange and unpredictable.
I like the Mass Effect games, mostly the first one. And I'm a big fan of Skyrim.
I studied English for two years, and still have much to improve, so I apologise for any possible mistakes.

Terry ~ Huntress of Erudition Hi! I work in the fashion industry and get alot of reading done during my commute in and out of New York every day. I come from a family of book lovers (and a writer)- my mother encouraged my love of reading at an early age and I passed that love to my son by reading all the Harry Potter books with him. My niece is currenting writing a novel. We often share books between us: my mother, aunt, sister, niece, & son. I like to read a great variety of books, anything that is well written, but my favorite author is Jane Austen.

Way to may books name a favorite I enjoy the work of the following

Gabriel García Márquez

For music I always want to find something new something not played to death . For me new music Tuesday is wonderful. This week alone
I have fallen in love with new albums from
Phosphorescent, Suede, Kacey Musgraves, Low.

Movies humm I enjoy a bit of everything from the art house release to the summer blockbuster. For me more then anything I just like going to see a move at a theater. I love the big screen and the sound. I love the popcorn and other treats. I have since i was child.

Interesting fact well I have lost 60 lbs since July of last year. I am trying to reclaim myself. I tend to workout 6 days of the week and since August of last year when I started I have walked, ran, crawled over 800 Miles. I have goal of 20 more lbs and I loving being stronger, faster and in better shape. =)

Richard Hammond, would probably be good fun to have around.

Or Bob Cooper, the desert survival expert, he could keep you alive.

Hi, Terry. I lived in NY for a while and boy do I miss public transportation. Primarily, because it was nice to read on the way to work and not fight traffic. Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors too. Which is your favorite book. I loved Pride and Prejudice, but Persuasion was a close favorite of mine. I give my nieces and nephews my favorite books too. I am so happy they are all kids who like to read, because I honestly would not know what to do if they didn't like to read.

I know right?! I was floored when they said they didn't like to read as kids. But my bad karma has me in a rural area, so maybe that's it. However, these ladies to volunteer in the community in ways that promote literacy, so maybe they are upset they missed it when they were young. Anyway, nice to meet you.

Hi Pamela!
My husband and I were just down in Florida visiting relatives near Orlando and I have to say I can appreciate how you would think bad karma drove you there. I imagined all of Florida to be sunny and tropical, like Miami, but it was really dry and brown where we were.
I guess my favorite novel by Jane Austen would be Pride & Prejudice because that is what I judge anything else in that genre by (society girls looking for a suitable husband) but Sense & Sensibility is a close 2nd.

Florida is a great place to vacation but not to live. It's just so rural especially after New York. I lived in Chicago and San Fran. too before moving here. It's a different world.

On particularly stressful days, I envy the life of women in Pride and Prejudice because they just seem to enjoy the weather and vacation with friends for mths at a time.
