D.G. | 2752 comments We're ready for the last week!

I have several books I'm interested in reading: The Scorpion Shards (Star Shards Chronicles, #1) by Neal Shusterman Gunmetal Magic (Kate Daniels World #1) by Ilona Andrews

But if none of those colors come up, I may just go with the AC one because I know I'll have all the colors covered.

Sandra | 25910 comments I particularly want Twice Tempted (Night Prince, #2) by Jeaniene Frost Wolf with Benefits (Pride, #8) by Shelly Laurenston or maybe even Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet (Charley Davidson, #4) by Darynda Jones

The 3 of them turned up Thursday/Friday :DDDD

D.G. | 2752 comments Those days when you get tons of books are awesome!

Question, Sandra - Those of us not in contention can draw as usual, right? I may be busy this afternoon so I may want to draw early.

Sandra | 25910 comments Yep!

D.G. | 2752 comments Do you think anybody would object if I draw now? We're not in contention and I finished all my books, so I'm looking for something to read. :)

D.G. | 2752 comments Tenacious Terrors: Week 11
Week 10 Spot + Color: #116 Green
Card: 2 of spades
New Spot + Color: #121 Blue

I was really hoping for that last fantasy forward so we would get a free read but it wasn't to be!

Funny though this is our FIRST 2. :) Of course, when we were all hoping for other colors!

Lis | 4037 comments Blue, huh... Wellll. I was holding out for The Heart of a Hero (Spellbound Falls, #4) by Janet Chapman but I also want to continue with Lux series Opal (Lux, #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout which both seem blue to me. Or Midnight (Dark Age Dawning, #2) by Ellen Connor

Steph Ann | 1220 comments I'm going to read Night Season (World of the Lupi, #4) by Eileen Wilks

Lis | 4037 comments Actually think I'm going to take a PNR UF break and go with Walking Disaster (Beautiful, #2) by Jamie McGuire . Too many good blue options this week.

Looks like team 9 is reading for the win... Team 5 may be in the race but short a few reviews before they can draw.

message 466: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25910 comments Yep, Nikita ;)

message 467: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 2752 comments Well, I finished the AC book so I'll be using that one. I just have to write the review...tomorrow maybe! (Family things to take care of today.)

Sandra | 25910 comments No worries, I haven't started mine yet. I want to read it, so I'm thinking tomorrow as its nearly 10pm here.

Lis | 4037 comments Week 11

Walking Disaster (Beautiful, #2) by Jamie McGuire

Read Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire
Series:  Beautiful
Finished: 4/8/2013
Rating: ★★★1/2
Space: #121 Blue Cover

Same college love story as Beautiful Disaster but from Travis' point of view, anger issues and all. He is drawn to Abby, who is trying to escape the lifestyle of her childhood as the daughter of a high stake poker legend and his mob associations in Vegas. She has selected a college that happens to be in Trav's hometown, where she is trying to re-invent herself by selecting a different path away from the bad boys. Her best friend America is also with her and already found her college love Shepley. This leads straight laced Abby in the womanizing trail of Shep's cousin Travis. Travis is the campus man wh@re and late night cage fighter. Something about Abby has him trying to change his ways and be someone worthy of her. Both characters have a lot of baggage and try to find away to communicate and become friends and maybe more.

Sandra | 25910 comments Team #5 Femforce Five has won, so you don't need to read your books this week. You can do so of course, and let us know what you thought of your picks. Its up to you ;)

Been great playing with you ladies, hope you all had a good time and I hope you all plan on joining our next team challenge later in the year.

message 471: by Lis (new)

Lis | 4037 comments It has been a lot of fun... We had a great reading team! Hope to see ya again in the next challenge. If you play often enough, it seems that you eventually get to be teamies again. Happy Reading!!

message 474: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 2752 comments Sandra - I meant to tell you. I know some people didn't enjoy the game as much but they may not want to share their feedback in an open forum. Maybe you could post that they could PM you if they don't feel comfortable posting?

Don't mean to boss you around, just a thought because I'm only seeing mostly positive comments in the thread. :)

Sandra | 25910 comments Thanks D.G. I'll do that right now :)
