Also, looks like our next color is green. Karen posted this about an hour ago in the board movement thread:Tean 6-Read in sixty seconds
3 of hearts - Green -110
Crystal S wrote: "Steph has a spreadsheet that lists current locations. Let me go find it."Of course she does. I should have known. I probably just completely jumped right over it. Thanks for looking for it.
I hate goodreads , I posted the card long ago and it didn't post my comment :/:/

No worries. It happens. Goodreads does all sorts of funky things.
It definitely does!
So , is everyone happy with green??

Green works for me. Even though I have to save 5 green covered books for next month I still have enough green covers to last me awhile. More so than purple that's for sure. lol
Works for me. I have approx 60 book series that I have started and am try to avoid starting a new one as much as possible while I whittle that number down. But as much as I hate to start a new one, I think I will read
. New series AND a new-to-me author. Luckily, if I find that I can't stand it, I've got a couple of back-up green covers.
I was really hoping for Orange. I have two orange books to get through then the next is a green.
to get to
. But since these are libray books I'll probably read
to get to
I will choose my book later as the two books I was waiting to start on Saturday have every color (red, yellow
I'll be reading one of these....just have to make a decision...Figured I should read one of my Netgalley books
Oh ! In that much its ok ? Sorry then :(:(
*bangs head against wall and feels really really stupid*
I just expanded and saw!
I'm really sorry!!

haha don't worry that was my initial reaction too. I was like that's blue...lol
Ok I finished
. I will wait until Friday to start
. I will be able to read it in 1 day so that way I can count it for a march "green" book also.
I just finished my book:
and I loved it. I will post a review later. Funny, randomly the next book I picked up also has green on the cover. :)
I finished my book too. Just gotta write that review...Hopefully I'll get it done today. If not, I'm off work the next two days so I'll do it then.
Grrrr I so thought Yesterday was Thursday. My whole week has been off. Too many snow days, kids are messing with my schedules. I guess I have an nother book I can read today.
Regina wrote: "Dawn, my week has been going like that too. Let me know if you need any recommendations."I've got the green book, I was waiting until the 1st to start reading so I can count it as a Green book for March challenges... I just thought today was the 1st. It's still the 28th here and I am itching to read my book. *sigh*
Week 5 - Spot 110 - Green

Sometimes contemporary romances feel rushed. Sometimes they have that insta-love that I hate so much because it makes everything feel forced. With Stand-In Star, Rachael Johns does a great job of making a quick timeframe (1 week) not seem so quick. The relationship between Nathan and Holly is played out perfectly, in fact I almost wished things had progressed a little faster and I never say that. I also loved that although Nate was prejudiced against Holly due to her estranged relationship with her deceased sister and he was a jerk to Holly, they didn’t act extremely aggressive towards each other. Sometimes the love/hate thing gets taken too far and people are just mean and it seems like the couple rarely moves past it. In this book, it was the opposite; they moved past it and both learned a little about Daisy (Holly’s sister) that they didn’t know before. It softened Holly to her sister and it softened Nate towards Holly.
I enjoyed Stand-In Star so much that I’m hoping to read more from the author soon. It was great watching the characters develop and the setting was perfect and not too clichéd. Johns writing style is great as well and there was never a moment that I was bored and wishing things would move along...well except for the relationship, but that’s only cause the sexual tension between Nate and Holly was so fierce.

Book:Come the Spring
Finished: 1/3/2013

Review: This was my first book in the series and that was a bit of a problem , I do intend to read the series from the beginning again to rectify that . Basically I quite loved this book but with the multiple romantic plots going on it was sometimes difficult to keep track.

I got this one free from Amazon awhile back, so I admit I wasn't expecting much. Most of the free kindle books, while not terrible, still aren't all that great. So I was pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed this one. It was a nice change from the usual vamps, weres, and demons/angels. Lots of action (but not too much), not too much sex, flawed characters. It all added up to a pretty good book. I figured out long before Talia did that she (view spoiler). Not sure if I was meant to or not.
Adam was a bit too "revenge-y" for my taste and for too long into the book was hell-bent on using Talia to destroy wraiths against her will. Then later he was too much of a martyr for the cause IMO. Talia also flirted with being TSTL through most of the book, although of course it always worked out for her (how can these TSTL heroines learn if their stupid actions work for them?!?) ;-) There were a few minor plot holes that I remember noticing when I was reading, but neglected to write down so now I've forgotten. And searching through my Kindle for them is NOT happening. So whatever. LOL
Despite these issues, I loved it and definitely plan on reading the sequel, which I also picked up free on for my Kindle. Yay!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

This was a unique twist on the time travel romance. Both were at home in the present and had to go to the past to fall in love. I am verry interested to see where this series goes!

Book: The Wanderer by Robyn CarrRobyn Carr
Finished: 2/27/13
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
I loved this book. Robyn Carr is one of my favorite adult contemporary romance writers. She is a comfort read for me. I love how she writes and depicts daily life. This novel offers 3 romances and the set-up of a great new series.
Wow -- we are all done and reviewed. ;) And all in a row of posts! Can't wait for the next draw. I am in the middle of an audio book and just started a new ebook, so I don't need a book for tonight but I am still looking forward to the draw ....
I'm anxious to see what we get too. Wouldn't mind another green since I have a ton of green books to read this month. lol Other than that I have something to cover any color I believe.
Regina wrote: "I am still getting used to picking books out this way!"Me too. But I've kinda planned ahead just so I don't have to go through all my books like I did when we had the purple covers called. lol
Hey all ! Just about to post the reviews and pick the card :)
Huh. I didn't think we were all that chatty a team, but we've got all the other teams beat for number of posts. LOL
