I'm about to start reading Memory in Shadow which the publisher website says is 100,462 words. It does not have pages listed, but when I open it on my Nook app, it has 285 pages.
Mandy, I have seen several publisher websites that confirm that word count, which would equal 401 pages, although Amazon lists the Kindle version as having 288 pages in Printed Length. So, it is fine. Since I can't find it in a GRs sanctioned site, you'll just have to refer anyone who questions it to this post.
I've just finished The Art of Leaving but haven't added it to my shelf yet because GR doesn't seem to have a page count listed.My hardcopy has 271 pages and Amazon lists it as 300 pages, but I thought I'd check with you before I did anything else!
I know this one is too short for towers challenge, but could you anyway put page no?
On publishers page it says it has 42000 words, Amazon estimates 132 pg (same as in my ADE) :)

Does The Fractured: Elena (Fractured #1) have more then 170 pages? It's 383 KB so by the rule mentioned earlier in this thread it would have enough pages - 191.5, but on Amazon it says the estimated length is only 93 pages.
Sorry, Lilac, I can NOT find a word count on
, even at smashwords.com - which usually has her books. Of course, it just came out this March, so it might take them awhile to post it. Or, they might not ever post it because it is free.Since it is a "free" in-between book, I suspect it has a lot of advertising inside that makes the file so big.
Unless you can find another reference beside Amazon, I would say that 93 is the page count.

I just read Acting Out which is about the same length as No Apologies which is listed at 267 pages. I cannot find an exact page number count for Acting Out, although the publisher calls it a "long novel". May I still count it for this challenge?

will count. With a file size of 362, and if there aren't many ads, I'd guess-ta-mate it about 181 pages.

I have just read
.I am a bit confused, all editions on GR say 157 pages so I went for that. But I am now looking again and according to Amazon (that I know we can not use at present time)it is 254 pages - quite a difference.
Also on smashword the wordcount is 61620 which I guess equals 246 pages.
Can I add it to my Tower Teams books after all?
Yes you may. BTW, changed all editions, Jane. As a side note, I don't know why the paperback say 252 and the Kindle say 254. **shrugs**

has varying page counts, depending on edition. I will allow any edition.

Question about a book with no page numbers :)One of our team member read Anomaly, which has no page number listed. Her Kindle version gave a location number of 3258, which should convert to 326 pages, correct? I just wanted to double check before I told her the wrong thing!
I got a book in mobi format from an author to read and review. I emailed him back to ask for an official page count. I he emails me back, I can forward the email on to you LK for verification for the tram read. if he doesn't, what info do I need to provide to figure out length... file size? Kindle location amount? I know it's got Kindle location amount of 2500+, and most of my books that have been 4000 or so have been like 350-500 pages as far as I can recall.
I don't think I have a word count, but might be able to find it.

Ah, nvm. Amazon has the file size at 287 KB, and at 2 KB per page, that comes in just under the wire at 143 pages. blah!
