You're not loving Infinite Jest, huh? I like it but it is taking me forever. At this rate I won't be done before the spring thaw!

I really liked it. I thought the epilogue was kinda hastily assembled and seemed a little scatter-y, but I loved the storytelling. Dude had it rough.
I think it would have been "happier" to end the story at the time Zamperini made it home and saw his family again, but I'm glad for Hillenbrand's decision to keep it going, as there was much more to his life (obviously), which certainly didn't end just because the war did.
