Thanks I'll fix that

What struck me particularly when researching for the book was how one group people (the white colonials) could treat another set of people (the enslaved Indian workers) with such cruelty. Indenture was a dressed-up form of slavery. The promises of land to those who completed their work tenure were invariably reneged upon. Usha's journey is filled with sadness, in parts uplifting, although I wish I could say that I found all the answers to my concerns.

Lt. William Y. Allen, a U.S. Navy Test Pilot said of the novel, "A truly compelling story. The aerial combat maneuvers are astonishingly accurate. Mr. Bradstock puts the reader in the cockpit to actaully feel the moving, turning, and spinning of the machine. This is a thrilling and exciting account of life and war at their best - and worst." Other testimonials can be read at www.BradstockBooks.com.
I hope you win, enjoy the novel, and appreciate the many messages about life, love, sacrifice, and devotion that are in the novel. I also look forward to discussing important historical information with you.

Synopsis
Life for a female slave is one of hardship and unspeakable sorrow, something Luna knows only too well. But not even she could have foreseen the terror that would befall her one sultry Mississippi evening in the summer of 1807.
On her way back from a visit to see the African woman, a witch who has the herbs Luna needs to rid her of her abusive master’s child, she attracts the attention of a deadly being that lusts for blood. Forcibly removed from everything she knows by this tormented otherworldly creature, she is sure she will be dead by sunrise.
Dark Genesis is a love story set against the savage world of slavery in which a young woman who has been dehumanised by its horrors finds the courage to love, and in doing so, reclaims her humanity.

Currently #3 on Amazon in Historical Mysteries!! CONTINUANCE has romance, LOTS of history and a nice "whodunnit" all rolled into one. The book alternates between dual time periods - 1905 New York City and present day - and is two separate stories connected by the century-old remains discovered in a pirate's tunnel in modern-day Savannah during an FBI search for a kidnapped seven-year-old child. If you liked the alternating time periods in Tess Gerritsen's THE BONE GARDEN, you'll like CONTINUANCE. It’s got 4.2/5 stars on 76 reviews.

'Burke and the Bedouin' is an old-fashioned adventure yarn set around Napoleon’s invasion of Egypt in 1798. There is an evil villain, a beautiful damsel in distress, midnight rides across the desert, and desperate fights with kidnappers and assorted evil-doers. And while Burke is doing all this, there's the little matter of trying to stop Napoleon from leading an army across the desert to India. It's yet another of those amazing military adventures you've probably never heard of.
To celebrate the arrival of Burke's second adventure, Amazon are giving copies away on Kindle from now until Sunday. Grab one while you can. According to my computer, this offer is available in the US as well as the UK.

Review
"I thought the quality of the writing and the research were outstanding." Jeffrey Archer
"Very good dialogue, all very seamless. I was at the end before I noticed, which is always a good sign." Penny Smith

LAST STOP KLINDENSPIEL - YA Holocaust Mystery - FREE on Amazon December 8 - 12, 2014
Combining the survival instincts made famous in THE HUNGER GAMES with the intensity of THE BOOK THIEF, LAST STOP KLINDENSPIEL is a tightrope of horrors that will make readers think twice about running away to join the circus…
It’s been eight years since the Second World War has ended – long enough for people to forgive and forget – but feelings of hate run deep in Norway against people like fifteen-year-old Katya Holberg and her family. Separated from her father when the Allies liberated Poland, Katya and the rest of her family are sent to an internment camp in Oslo where they’re eventually rescued by a Norwegian war hero. After four tumultuous years together, he brutally murders her sister, forcing Katya and her mother to seek refuge with her grandmother in faraway Droeback where Katya’s mother is murdered by villagers soon after their arrival. Fearing for her safety, Katya’s grandmother sends her to Klindenspiel, the only circus of its kind in Europe, where all of the performers are children. Once there, Katya quickly learns that all of the young performers share her terrible secret, making them more like her than she could ever have imagined. Things become complicated when Klindenspiel’s artistic director pairs Katya with Aleks, a good-looking but secretive seventeen-year-old, who’s skilled in acrobatics and dance. Curious about, and attracted to her new partner, Katya secretly follows him one night and learns the horrible truth behind Klindenspiel’s magic. With the curtains about to rise on Klindenspiel’s newest show, Katya and Aleks must give the performance of a lifetime – both on and off the stage – because their lives, and those of their fellow performers, are depending on it.
