Am i reading "Mary's Blessing" By Lena Nelson Dooley.I have already read "Maggie's Journey". The first book.
Just finished The Warrior by Wanda Ann Thomas. What a delightful surprise! It's so rare that I like Christian romance, I loved this one!
It's actually Judeo-Christian romance since it takes place in Judea around 48 BC.
I have been reading through Lisa Wingate's books. High recommend this to everyone on this page. I do not think you will be disappointed!
Nothing and I want to be! Can anyone recommend a good Christian historical fiction romance? Maybe something set in the early 20th century in England?

I just finished A Refuge at Highland Hall and it was a lovely read! It happens during WWI in England. The setting is similar to Downton Abbey since the main characters spend most of their time in a manor. However there are lots of glimpses of the war.
The books can stand alone (I didn't finish the first one), but I guess I would recommend reading the whole series. The third book was my favorite in the series.
Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson is wonderful and set in England in 1816. Also any of Julie Klassen's books. Lady Maybe is a favorite of mine.
Thanks! I will definitely check this out!mclara wrote: "D.L. wrote: "Nothing and I want to be! Can anyone recommend a good Christian historical fiction romance? Maybe something set in the early 20th century in England?"

I am currently reading
. It hasn't captured my attention as well as some, but I had it on my shelves and wanted to go ahead and read it.
LadyS wrote: "I am currently reading "A match made in texas" a collection of four stories"I loved that collection!
I read Lipsi's Daughter by Patty Apostolides. I loved how she brought the Greek culture into it, as it's something I hadn't seen a lot of in Romance novels. It's a book that I will go back and read again, as I didn't want it to end.
I'm going to start Dandelions on the Wind by Mona Hodgson. This is my first book by Mona. Dandelions on the Wind
I'm currently listening to "No Way Up" by Mary Connealy No Way Up [bookcover:No Way Up on Audible. I am also reading a historical romance novella collection which is written by Christian authors (members of ACFW and inspirational fiction award winners) but now that I think about it, Christianity isn't a theme in the stories I've read so far (just finished book 4 out of 9). So I suppose I shouldn't post it here?

Loved it! And not just because I'm a librarian!... Elizabeth Camden tells a story that makes it seem real! I love travelling back to the Victorian era... one of her best! <3
