Pippen and Gimli. They could be comic relief.
Legolas is by far the 'hottest' and most noble, and I love the friendship that developed between the Elf Prince and the Warrior Dwarf.
LOTR = aragorn & legolas (and marry and pippin ;p)the Hobiit = radagast =D
Sam for his hope, courage, and loyalty!
In the Fellowship, Merry and Pippin. Overall, though, definitely the Ents.

Galadriel. In the movie because Kate Winslet does such a fantastic job. In the books because she holds all the pain and suffering of the elves in her heart yet extends to help those who will remain (humans, hobbits, and dwarves).
Oh, and Eowyn for her non-traditional role.

Prince Imrahil, he reminded an actual historical character, remaining full of dignity without cartoonish featuresLegolas - yet he lost many features that elfs from mirkwood had, great feasts and funky attitude, i would say fits them best

Sam is absolutely my favorite character. He is the backbone of the story. Without Sam, the Ring never would have made it to Mt Doom.

sam wise the brave. My sam what would i do without my Sam? die thats what. he is the sweetest hobbit with more loyalty and love in his heart than any big person could ever have.

I love Sam's character. He teaches us what sacrifice, friendship, motivation and optimism is. His virtues are so different yet unique from evryone else!!!
Mine is mighty Glorfindel. No one's better than him.
Sam has my vote..but I love them all. I just like Sam, he is so loyal, who wouldn't like to have him as a friend.
