I don't know if this is the right place for this or not but I would like to add JRR Tolkien somewhere in this group, and not just because he invented languages, but because it would be nice to see him somewhere other then the mass market high fantasy crowd, given how much he loved the history of languages, and did a number of significant translations himself (Sir Gaiwain, Book of Jonah for the Jerusalem bible) as well as the fact that the background of Middle Earth was baed heavily on history and language history specifically.
Just add him under the Linguists and their texts, Matthew. You don't have to be a mod. to add a topic thread.
