Sorry if that came off wrong lol

But of all of those I posted, the one that made me the most emotional was Handle With Care. There is also My Sister's Keeper

Legend by Marie Lu and Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi are both pretty fast paced.

I have a novel that I just published in November. I just got married so haven't had the time to promote it until now. I never realized how hard it would be to get those first reviews. If you want to check it out, my young adult novel is titled Dark Lightning. It takes you into the dark society of Elementals. Follow Ava Sparks as she struggles to find her place at Westville Boarding School while trying to control the rare element of lightning. Rivalries clash and Elementals are on the brink of war with humans. Ava has to choose her side, while still trying to be a normal seventeen year old.

Hi all. I recent read
and really enjoyed it. I was wondering if anyone has any book recs for a similar read?

I read most of these recently and my understanding is they are NA. I guess I don't really understand what NA is. I'm glad to meet another Tamora Pierce fan though. I love ALL her books! ^-^

Just finished Ugly Love yesterday and oh, my poor heart!!!! Soooo good! Haven't heard about the first one, I'll have to check it out :)
@Bookbuyer I haven't read that many :/ Just the Alanna series. I met her in March, it was huuuuge!!!

Just finished Ug..."
O.O OMG! I totally want to meet her!!!!!!! I'll have to stalk her webpage to see when she might be in Canada. You should definitely try her other books. I'd recommend the Terrier series as it's the only one with an older teen protagonist. Most of her other characters start at the tween or younger teen age.

Specifically, I'm looking for books for the following blocks: Beauty and the Beast, Lilo and Stitch, Peter Pan, Princess and the Frog, Maleficent, Finding Nemo and Sleeping Beauty.
And when I say short books I mean less than 200 pages, preferably :)
Can anyone recommend anything good? :)

*** I did my best to find books around 200 pages but it was too hard so some of these are longer than you asked for.
This might count for Beauty and the Beast:

Maleficent (oooh so many):

So Mote it Be
The Power of Two
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
^^^ Almost all the witch books are about 200 pages.
and some of the Adult and I think YA books by Kelley Armstrong feature witches. Been too long since I read them to remember for sure.

well,

The Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness, The Across the Universe trilogy by Beth Revis, Proxy by Alex London and The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer are all really good sci-fi books.

The wrath and the dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Cinder by Marissa Mayer
A court of thorns and roses by Sarah J Maas

I'm here for some book recommendations from you all!
I'll be going on a 5-6hrs travel by rail tomorrow..so if you guys have any suggestions for books to read while travelling, that'd be really greatful!

I'm new to this so I'm not sure this is the way to go but it looked like a good place to start :)
I need to fined a book, a specific book I have read it before and I can relay some of it but I can't for the life of me remember the author or the names of the characters :( so I am hoping that you guys can help me because it is driving nuts not wondering.
It's set in collage, a girl lives with girl roommates.. this guy is the talk of the it all he has sex left and right and is not shy about it.. (I think) he sees her and flirts but she knows of him and shoots him down time and again. They go in the same circle and eats at the same table in the dining hall with the roommate and his friends ( I think) there is a scene where he sits at the end of the table with a girl/girls on his lap and she says something not nice about the girl and he shift his leg so she falls of..
Anyway they become friends and hangs out at his apartment that he shares with a guy who dates the girls friend.. they talk and study on his bed and everyone thinks and say the are together but they are not.. they have thoughts about one another but don't deare do anything, her because of his rep and him because he doesn't want to be locked down.
She stays at his place a lot and she goes on a date with some other guy and that of cause set jealousy of in the main guy.
Hmm I want to say something about poker?? But I might be mixing my stories
