Kate R (katetheshortone) Círwin shrugged, her eyes flashing. "I've been around for... a while," she replied simply.

message 152: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë nodded.
"I'm looking for my father and brother." She said.

Kate R (katetheshortone) "Really? I'm cautious to ask, but why?" She implored. Absentmindedly pushing a strand of hair through her braid, Círwin flopped down, somehow gracefully, onto a soft patch of grass. She stared up at Inwë and patted the soft ground in front of her, inviting her to sit down and get comfortable.

message 154: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë sat down next to her.
"My father is... missing. My brother is looking for him with me, but I've also managed to loose him."

message 155: by Kate (new)

Kate R (katetheshortone) Círwin cocked her head to one side. "Oh, so your looking for him on your own?" She asked, hesitantly. In her suprise at being discovered, she had forgotten to adopt her shy and modest persona. That cover was no doubt blown by her invitation and blatant show of her 'skills' in her plié.

message 156: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë nodded. "Yes, you might have heard of him, or not. He was the sword trainer Meneldur."

message 157: by Kate (last edited Jan 23, 2013 05:20PM) (new)

Kate R (katetheshortone) "Sadly, I have not. I've been... cut off -slightly out of touch- from the rest of Delven... Wood for some time," she said, backtracking and choosing her words carefully.

message 158: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë nodded. "That's understandable then."

Kristi (derek1) | 23 comments Maranwë hopped off her mount. She gave its head a quick pet then leaned against a tree

message 160: by Kate (new)

Kate R (katetheshortone) Círwin shrugged, staring off into the forest, somewhat pensively.

Lahrka looked at Lucanthé and shook her head, "I should really be getting home... I still have to make supper..."

Celeśti shook her head. "Do as you wish Elftess, but there may never be a chance again."

Kade whipped out a piece of parchment, easily identified as a map of town. It was worn and thinned out, but it was done with great craftsmanship. He ran a finger down it, tracing along pathways.
"A wealthy guard is staying in the Fawnstep Inn. He's notorious for carrying out executions in Delven Shadow. Right now he should be making his way to Delven Star to accuse another innocent person of treason. He's just stopped at the inn for tonight. There's a bit of security around it, but we can easily get in through a window...." He said the instructions loud enough for the girl to hear, but he said them more so to himself than her.

Lahrka bit her lip and thought for a moment, then let out a breath, "I'll come with, then..."

message 167: by [deleted user] (new)

"Great" she said and began walking after Kade and Maranwë. She looked back at the elf and paused.

Lahrka followed quickly, catching up to the two. She carried the basket of vegetables and fruit on her head; her grandmother had taught her how to balance a heavy basket on her head when she was a little girl and it was a skill only the ebony-skinned elves could perfect, for whatever reason.

message 169: by [deleted user] (new)

Celeśti blinked towards the a particularly dense part of the forest and a [whatever you would want to ride] can walking out.

Lahrka looked at the Cullasell and bit her lip before mounting it and holding the basket in front of herself.

message 171: by Kate (new)

Kate R (katetheshortone) Círwin nodded. "Sure, I guess..." she said slowly.

message 172: by [deleted user] (new)

"It's beautiful." Lucanthè said looking at the Cullasell in amazement.

Lahrka nodded in agreement and held on to the black animal's thick fur and bit her lip, slightly nervous.

"So, I'm thinking one of us can climb onto the roof, and throw down a rope for the other one to get up. Then we can slide down to the window, open it, hop inside, steal some cash, then dash." He shrugged. It wasn't as elaborate as most of his plans, but this was an on-the-spot tag team act.

message 176: by Kate (new)

Kate R (katetheshortone) Círwin shrugged. "I have no earthly idea..."

message 177: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë laughed. "Same here."

message 178: by Kristi (new)

Kristi (derek1) | 23 comments Maranwë considered. "Not bad, not bad at all."

message 179: by Kate (new)

Kate R (katetheshortone) Círwin looked around the forest. "Maybe we should just follow the road and see where it goes. I don't get out of the forest much," she suggested. Hopefully with someone else I won't be suspected. She thought to herself, aware of any risk travellin might add.

message 180: by [deleted user] (new)

"Okay, sounds good." Inwë said with a smile.

Eleana walked through the woods, her eyes scanning the forest. She spotted a group of elves. She waved her hand and smiled. Truth be told, she wasn't the most outgoing person, but she wanted to be nice.

message 184: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë waved back, curious at who the new Elf was.

message 185: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa As the sun climbed higher into the midday sky, Rowan leapt down from the branch of a tree, a rabbit wriggling in his grasp. It was a small thing, hardly enough to make him any profit. Soothing the terrified creature with a few gentle strokes, he released it, watching as it sped away into the forest. The third one today, but he wouldn't be considered one of the best hunters if his catches were made up of helpless rabbits.

He carried a melodic tune through the forest as he whistled, strolling into the vicinity of a few elftresses. Rowan raised a hand in greeting to them, an easy smile softening his rugged features.

message 186: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë smiled and waved back. "Hi." She said, walking over to him.

message 187: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa "Afternoon," he replied, his head bowed to the fair lady. She was like most elf maids, pale-skinned and glowing internally, externally. The kind of warm light that, instead of shining, seemed diffuse and soften around Rowan even in the shade of the forest.

message 188: by [deleted user] (new)

Inwë smiled softly. "My name's Inwë Meneldur."

message 189: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa "It's a pleasure, miss Meneldur. I do hope I'm not intruding." Rowan cast a glance at the other two elves, head tipping into a nod. It seemed that they gathered there, in that patch of lush grass, for something. It would be rude to interrupt the ladies, especially with his quiver strapped on his back and his longbow poised beside him.

"I'm Rowan, by the way. Rowan Ryjvik."

message 190: by [deleted user] (last edited Feb 15, 2013 05:25PM) (new)

"Nice to meet you, mr Ryjvik. Please, call me Inwë. No, no, you're not intruding at all." She smiled softly and saw his quiver and longbow. She nodded in aproval and looked at her own quiver and bow.

message 191: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa "Then call me Rowan," he replied with an equally amiable smile. He was more used to his father being addressed as the head of house, rather than himself. Most were well-acquainted with the Ryjviks - well, hunters, anyways.

message 192: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well then, Rowan, you seem like a nice Elf. What brings you out here?" She asked. She was looking for her swordtrainer father and her brother, and would tell him... if he asked. She remained smiling, hoping to look welcoming to him.

message 193: by [deleted user] (new)

((Come on guys lets try and get this going again :) ))
Lucanthè, riding the Tasatir was following Maranwë and Kade with Lahrka.
