Arcadia Barrile (braintasiabooks) Science Fiction & Fantasy Reading Challenges
January 2013 Monthly Challenge
January 1 - January 31

1. 2012 TBR: Thought you were done with 2012, didn't you? Turns out, you aren't! Read one book that you added to your TBR shelf last year.
2. 2013 TBR: Happy 2013, though! Read one book that you added to your TBR shelf this year, too.
3. New to you: The new year is a time for new beginnings, so read a book by an author you've never read before.
4. Bittersweet endings: The new year is also an end to the old one, so read the last book in a series.
5. Chilly: Because January is in the middle of Winter, read a book set in a cold place.
6. Pretty colors: Following with the Winter theme, read a book with a primarily blue or purple cover.
7. 'J': Read a book whose title or author's surname begins with the letter 'J'. This should be self-explanatory.
8. People are strange: Best friends are awesome, but random strangers are just as good in a pinch, so read one book off the shelf of one of your GoodReads friends you've never met in person.
9. Debut novel: January is the first month of the year, so read an author's debut novel.
10. Reader's choice: Whatever the hell you want to read.

If you're busy or just not a speedy reader, you don't need to read all ten categories, just do whatever you feel comfortable with. Have fun, and happy reading!
