message 111: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments what? we're talking about how lame it'd be if there was a fifth book.

message 112: by Clary Fray (new)

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments Actually I think that that would be kinda cool.

message 113: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments you're kidding me...

message 114: by Clary Fray (new)

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments what?????? Is that odd for some reason??????

message 115: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments you'd be okay with a fifth book?

message 116: by Rohan (new)

Rohan | 88 comments umm seriously wtf! how have we reached the fifth book! plus no one reliable has said anything about a fifth book so such rumour is unwarranted for and should be dismissed. and i agree with brianne that a fifth book will result in me just giving up on the whole series and just doing a burn eragon day or something!! and no having a fifth book will not be cool as no one wants to wait 5-10 years for the last book! just get over with.

message 117: by Clary Fray (new)

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments Brianne wrote: "you'd be okay with a fifth book?"

Yes. I would TOTALLY be okay with a fifth one! And a tenth one!!

message 118: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurielou1121) | 26 comments i'm still upset that there's a forth book! i just want to know what the hell happens!!

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments That was what I was saying

message 121: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments oh. was that sarcasm before?

message 122: by Clary Fray (new)

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments Yes, it was. It was me saying he better hurry the hell up and finish the books so we can know what happens.

message 123: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments ah. sarcasm doesn't travel well through internet.

message 124: by Clary Fray (new)

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments No, it doesn't. It's much easier to do it in real life

message 125: by Rohan (new)

Rohan | 88 comments lol^^

message 126: by Chris (new)

Chris He has probably died, LOL XD

message 127: by Clary Fray (new)

message 128: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments Lauren wrote: "WHERE IS MY BOOK!!!!!!!! HE WAS SUPPOSEDLY ALMOST DONE WITH IT WHEN BRISINGR CAME OUT SINCE IT WAS THE SECOND HALF TECHNICALLY!!! SO WHERE THE HELL IS IT?! AND NOW I HEAR THAT THERE MAY BE 5 BOOKS ..."

To the fifth book. Chris P. said there would but it wouldn't be part of the Inheritance cycle just that he has several ideas for more books even the supposedly "fifth" book might take place in Alagaesia after the war or something like that and yeah if he didn't end the Inheritance Cycle in book four I would be really pissed

message 129: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments he has to.

message 130: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments Write another book after book 4? yeah it would be kewl if he did and was based in Alageasia but not as a part of the Inheritance cycle the book series has drag on long enough

message 131: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments i meant he has to end it with book four. i don't like alternate stories based on the same universe. i always get disappointed.

message 132: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments I wouldn't mind having another based in Alagaesia kind of build onto the history of the place like he could write about the new era of Dragon Riders trying to get a new foot hold but also another book in some other part of the Alagaesia world and when I mean world I mean the planet not the continent of Alagaesia and yeah he HAS to finish the series with book 4

message 133: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments i kind of feel like that would be extremely cheesy.

message 134: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments Why would it be cheesy?

message 135: by Clary Fray (new)

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments I think it would be a good idea. I read the mortal instruments series(duh) and the authour is making another book series using the same things, different characters. I like when they do that, cuz you get more of an insught on the whole story and stuff

message 136: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments Exactly it is a wonderful way to get to know other characters of a series and I also the Mortal Instruments series and it was amazing

message 137: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments well. i dunno. christopher paolinis writing is starting to get me on edge.

it's so predictable! i dunno... i guess it's just me.

message 138: by Clary Fray (new)

Clary Fray (girlsoccer86) | 63 comments it is quite unpredictable. so unpredictable in fact, that his writing takes forever and a day to finish. Yaya on lovin the mortal instrments, jerry. rock on!!

message 139: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments Yeah Chris P. is all about the detail in his books but I love it it gives more detail to the "movie" that is going on in my head and yeah I LOVED the MI series is there a group for it on here Clary

message 140: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments idk there's a point when there is too much detail.

message 141: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments yeah there is but I think he has the right amount of detail

message 142: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments well... there are those really really long parts that are just chalked full of detail that isn't at all necessary.

message 143: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments lol yeah that is true I don't I guess it just me lol

message 144: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments what?

message 145: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments Just saying that all the detail doesn't bother me

message 146: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments oh. it didn't but then it did. if he uses it in the next book i won't mind though.

message 147: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (catfanatic) | 133 comments Mod
I agree with Brianne. I often zone out a little in the fight scenes because there's so much he's telling you that's going on that I guess it kinda overloads my brain or something.
Clary Fray, the differences between Cassandra Clare's two series being in the same world and adding an 'after-the-series' series are 1) The second series is in the past. They're more of a prequel series. Which is only slightly different, but nevertheless, different. And 2) They're not actually in the same place (unless I'm confusing things) One is in New York, the other in England someplace I believe (I haven't actually read Clockwork Angel yet...)

message 148: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments yup yup.

message 149: by Jerry (new)

Jerry Kimball | 28 comments I like the fighting parts alot but yeah they sometimes do go to much in depth and I just finished Clockwork Angel and it was amazing u need to definitely read it

message 150: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (catfanatic) | 133 comments Mod
I definitely need to re-read the books because I don't remember a lot of what happens in them (mostly because I read them a while ago, but also the zoning out thing). Like, I don't even remember how Eragon killed the shade... he did kill the shade right? I don't remember much from that battle...
I've got a hold on Clockwork Angel. So if that ever comes in, I'll read it. :P
