...I'm obsessed w/ them? oh. thanks for telling me! xD besides, I know ur not. if you were, you'd be a goodreads author and this link: Christopher Paolini would lead to ur profile. xD

message 68: by Chris (new)

Chris haha wat if i signed in with my mums last name and i might not have signed in as a author

message 69: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (catfanatic) | 133 comments Mod
uh-huh. sure. besides, Christopher Paolini is american, not british, so he wouldn't say mum.

message 70: by Chris (new)

...huh?

Lauren (llg132) I think he means his "mum" is either British or a British citizen. Though no I am positive Christopher is not Paolini because if he was he would put his full name as his user name.

message 73: by Chris (new)

Chris we are getting off subject

who needs a topic MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

message 77: by Jarris1 (new)

Jarris1 | 18 comments it will probably be something diffrent than empire i assume it will be a little odder than that although odd isn't quite the word im looking for

message 78: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (catfanatic) | 133 comments Mod
I agree. To me Empire seems a little too ...obvious if that makes sense...

message 79: by Chris (new)

Chris it will be called resurrection

message 80: by Chris (new)

Chris i think

message 81: by Jarris1 (new)

Jarris1 | 18 comments i think the key to figuring this out will have two requirments knowing 1.why 3 was called brisinger and 2. some knowledge of events in the book with that information and information from the other books titles we might be able to see a trend

message 82: by Chris (new)

Chris okay

Naomi (catfanatic) | 133 comments Mod
brisingr means 'fire', but I'm not sure how that exactly relates to the book...

message 84: by Jarris1 (new)

Jarris1 | 18 comments Naomi wrote: "brisingr means 'fire', but I'm not sure how that exactly relates to the book..."

and how it relates will help us find a trend

message 85: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (catfanatic) | 133 comments Mod
do you have any ideas on how it relates?

message 86: by Jarris1 (new)

Jarris1 | 18 comments Naomi wrote: "do you have any ideas on how it relates?"

not one :P i'm just gonna let one of you reread the book then tell me

message 87: by Kami (new)

Kami Brisingr is the name of Eragon's sword.

message 88: by Jarris1 (new)

Jarris1 | 18 comments Kami wrote: "Brisingr is the name of Eragon's sword. "

is that really how it ties in *sigh* how boring well i guess the only trend there is, is naming items/events/people that play an important part in which case the name would be impossible to know because all of those names excluding eragon involved twists. the only thing we can know is that it won't be empire because the empire is a big part of these books already and will not be introduced

message 89: by Kami (new)

Kami I think it would be funny if he just called "The End" or "The Final Book"

message 90: by Chris (new)

Chris didnt u know that, god ive just been away i could have told u and saved u time but how can u guys forget what its to do with huh?
and resurrection because people get revived
that will be good...

message 91: by [deleted user] (new)

i think brisingr is part of eragons true name.

message 92: by Stephen (new)

message 95: by Rohan (new)

Rohan | 88 comments guys u are jst clutching to straws and posting rumours! however glad i would be that the new book was gonna be out soon and with whatever u said above. i dont think much of the statements above are correct and warranted for!

message 96: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (catfanatic) | 133 comments Mod
prob true. but it's still interesting to think about the possibilities. even if they won't happen in the book.

message 97: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments we should start a speculation thread.

message 98: by Rohan (new)

Rohan | 88 comments guyz do any of u have any new info on the fourth book? i have been scouring the web futilely with rather vague rumours. some say that the book would have come out by 2009 end but that has been past. others say that the book will come out in 2010 fall but we are into fall with no indication of a book. i mean after every passing date people say that it will come in 6 months.

i know writing a book is hard but it is not that time consuming if u have already finished it as paolini indicated. thus i am not sure if his letter at the end of brisingr is entirely true. but i guess he might have had a change of heart and may decide on an alternate ending or that he has taken an extended break to keep the readers waiting which would be a cruel joke!!

message 99: by Brianne (new)

Brianne (iliketoreadbooks) | 68 comments i've given up on book four... how long has it been?
