and I am liking it so far."I just added this to my TBR recently because a Goodreads friend recommended it. I've only heard good things so far!
It's such a hyped series I wasn't sure of it. I'm really enjoying it tho. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Yes, I worry about hyped series too. They are usually a let down. I saw the movie and enjoyed it though, so I'm hoping to like the series and read ahead of any future movies.
Iwatched the movie first, which inspired me to read the book. Now I enjoy the book 100 times better. You will really enjoy it.
Currently reading He Never Liked Cake by Janna Leyde. An intriguing story of a life flipped upside down and changed forever. Check it out!
I just finished
it's good if you watch the tv show or have read the other books/series. Now I'm reading
and finishing
.
I've just finished the delightful but robust Tragic Desires - A.M. Hargrove. Now I am about to read Daughter - Jane Shemilt.
I'm reading The Two Towers and I'm planning to read The Help afterwords! Especially looking forward to reading The Help :)
Just read The Gifts, A Jacody Ives Mystery and now reading The Killing Game both excellent reads by authors who succeed in captivating their readers.
Just started When You are Engulfed in Flames When You Are Engulfed in Flamesby David Sedaris. A different type of book for me so I hope it's good.

Currently reading the Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare. I am enjoying it so far.I previously read in April all the Mortal Instruments and enjoyed them but I wouldn't call them rave worthy.
I finished it last night. It was definitely good. Thought about continuing the series but I have three John Green books staring at me on my shelf.
They only get better as you go a long I think. If you liked book one Elizabeth I would encourage you to keep going!
by Jessica Shirvington (ARC)I was fortunate enough to come across someone on Pintrest when I was looking for this cover to put on a pin board and she had extra copies of the ARC's. Come to find out, it had been her last copy, so I had reached out in perfect timing! I am really enjoying this one like I did all the others in this series (well, there was one book exception that was difficult to get through but I trudged through it and glad I did!). This is the 5th and final book in the Ebrace Series.
I'm currently reading
and
. I just finished
and I've heard a lot of people complain about how Tris acted in this book, but if you get the kindle edition it explains character death and why Tris acts the way she does in this book.
I got my hands on No One Belongs Here More Than You the other day. Fantastic, witty, unsettling stories. Highly recommended.
Barry wrote: "Currently Reading IQ84 by Haruki Murakami. The authors way of storytelling fascinates the reader into a world of wonder. Can you really question reality? Really good book."I just finished reading that!Have you read any of murakami's other works?
Hi!! Right now I am reading A Time To Kill by John Grisham! He is my favorite author, I highly recommend this book! Especially if you like books about law!
I'm currently reading "One Hundred Years Of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I had to read this when I was in high school and I found it pretty boring and I think I wasn't mature to read this kind of books because it was hard to understand for a 14 year old teenager. After his death I promised as a good Colombian to read his work and wow I have to say that this book is amazing, very entertaining, and I see a bit of Latin American history in this book. I have laughed a lot reading this. Really recommend this book, is magic realism. If you read it, try to do it everyday so you won't get lost with the characters because they're so many.
Stephany: thanks for giving me hope! I tried to read the book when I was a teenager and couldn´t get through with it. I think know is time to give it another try :)
I am currently reading Everything Is Illuminated. Usually I read the book first but when I saw this movie I was unaware of the book. I absolutely LOVED the movie and so far the book seems fairly comparable even though I am not very far into it. Alex's premium skills have me laughing.
@Desertorum: well this is a classic, when I tried the first time it was hard, but now it really easy to understand. I also have to point out that I'm reading in Spanish because it's my mother tongue. I have heard that the book in English is really hard to read. I really don't know about this 'cause I haven't tried to pick a copy in English. You will love the book. I have read more than half of the book and I really love it.
Gabo was such a wonderful person and writer.
Pest On The Run by Gerry Burke – Book ReviewReviewed by Raymond Mathiesen
4.5 out of 5 stars
Big trouble and light hearted investigations…
A beautiful stage show star, come whore house madam, is suddenly foully murdered, despite her apparent gangster protection. A disgruntled Japanese business tycoon hires a hit man to assassinate Australia’s Prime Minister. An unbeatable game show contestant takes a recreational bungee-jump, only to have her rope break in what her friend thinks is dubious circumstances. Enter the low-life world of Paddy Pest, sometimes Private Investigator and sometimes secret agent for Australia’s spy bureau ASIO. Pest is based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, though is very frequently an international traveler. He is a master of dubious disguises, and often manages to solve the case despite his shortcomings. Here is a world where virtually everybody has a rancorous underbelly, and where murder is a common life event, but where good will eventually win out (even if by fluke). These humorous short stories will beguile you, entertain you and make you chuckle. Gerry Burke’s Pest On The Run: More Humorous Short Stories From The Paddy Pest Chronicles (iUniverse, c2012) is ideal for the lover of crime and murder mystery tales, but will also suit busy people looking for a witty amusement to fill a free hour or two.

I've lucky enough to have several ARCs waiting for read and review. The one I'm currently reading is The Hour of the Innocents.
Hi! Today I learned that half the proceeds from The Light Who Shines goes to a cancer society. The book is dystopia/fantasy. If that's not your type book, I hope you'll consider trying something new for a good cause. :) I think it's a great way for indie authors to sell a novel. :) I already bought it and plan to read it very soon. Hope someone buys it. :)
I am currently reading Ember Islandby Kimberley Freeman. I seem to be in a historical romance mood since I've read several books by Lucinda Riley lately, another author I really enjoy.
I am currently reading The Alienist, The Book Thief, and Let's Go Play At The Adams'. I really want to start the third Vampire Academy book too. Oh, and I am reading Naked Heat at work.
I am around, just not been reading much as I have had a bad case of thinking I liked a book and it turned out I didn't. Then there is my eldest son who wanted to move to Scotland and now isn't and my fridge/freezer blowing up and having to fork out £100 (GBP) for a new fridge lol.On a good note, I am reading Exquisite Betrayal - A.M. Hargrove which I am enjoying.
I began The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry this morning and the pages seem to be turning themselves. I am also listening to Love Life by Rob Lowe.
