I've finished The Succubus Gift - B.R. Kingsolver today. Now I think I will read From a Dead Sleep - John Daly.

Finished reading The Escape Artist by Diane Chamberlain
I really enjoyed this one.My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I read
yesterday. I just couldn't put it down. Highly recommend - don't let the YA label fool you if that's not typically your genre.
Reading through these comments, I've added to my "to-read" list.November has been dominated by
and currently
. Sometimes I take a break from the others and read some of
, which I will eventually finish.
Slowly reading
for my book club. Think I am going to dive into the new "Black Falcon"
. And still slowly reading the "Phantom Tollbooth" with my son.
Going to Seattle in a couple of weeks and hoping to find a good used bookstore and then get a cup of coffee at the original Starbucks.
Currently reading Blood and Betrayal by Lindsay Buroker. Can't get enough of the Emperor's Edge Series! Also reading Days of blood and starlight which is shaping up to be as good as (maybe even better than) the first book so far.
I am finally-Finally reading Divergent, and I am surprised at how much I like it. I honestly didn't think I would like it much. I'm not a big fan of dystopian. But this is pretty great.
I'm currently reading Shooting Scars, Book 2 of The Artists Trilogy. So far, so good and I've never read a book like this before. It's a page turner and it's really good.

I'm currently reading
, the second book of the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson :)It's an amazing and well written series so far!
I finally started the City of Bones and... I have no idea why everyone likes it. The characters are like 5 years old and the dialogues are written for kids only.I finished the Unearthly novel recently and I liked it much more than this one.
Kierra I didn't like it either. It recieved a very lovely one star review. However for reasons I don't fully understand I read the next two in the series. It does get better but don't expect the series to be amazing. The writing is still not great and the character development is poor. Still it's good enough to make a movie out of I guess.
Yuli - I love Brandon Sanderson to bits. I've finished book 2 of the mistborn trilogy and am looking forward to reading the third. Seriously anything written by this man is worth picking up.

Yes I will. It's to be another trilogy apparently. I'm sure it will be good too. Have you read The way of Kings (also by same author)? I'd recommend reading those after your done with mistborn.

Finished
what kept going through my mind:A big helping of "Beaches", a heaping cup full of "the Help". a dash of "Dream with little Angels", and a light sprinkling of Steel Magnolias, garnished with some Fannie Flagg vernacular.
I was going to start reading "The Book Thief", but now I am broke and in the mood for some "fluff" so I dived in my box of cheap used trash books and discovered:
I am in the middle of Divine by Blood by P.C. Cast and Revealed by P.C. and Kristin Cast. Both are pretty awesome.
Currently re-reading:
&
. It will finish up my CLAMP challenge. Next up are
&
, which are also the last two books on my TBR list for this month. So excited, I might get ahead on my TBR reading!
I am irrevocably in love with "Me before you" written by Jojo Moyes. A whoasomely beautiful storytelling and so ingeniously yarned characters. A wholehearted recommendation to each and everyone.

I think it portrays a case of depression leading to suicide very well. Every case is different and while there is a list of tell-tale signs, a person does not always fit into the checklist. It's supposed to make you think of how easily someone could fall through the cracks and to consider how you affect other people. I've been through depression and it is very common to shut out the world and those trying to help.

I need a good book to read. I m half way through Shopaholic ties the knot and I am bored out of my mind. I m even thinking in just stopping altogether

Getting ready to start
(and hoping I'll actually be left alone during my lunch break so I can read it!)
Currently, I am trying to work my way through Anna Karenina, very slowly. I just finished Fangirl which I loved!
I recently just finished
The Golden Compass and now since my book just now arrived in the mail, I'm reading
Angelfall which I am really excited about :)
Finished The Woman He Loved Before by Dorothy Koomson
I quite enjoyed this one :)

Sounds really good Liz! I just added it to my ever growing TBR. Let us know what you think of it when you finish.

Room was one of my favorite books this year, and still haunts me.
Kristie wrote: "Sounds really good Liz! I just added it to my ever growing TBR. Let us know what you think of it when you finish."I definitely will! I'm only a few chapers in right now but it's really good so far!
Just finished a book out of my cheap used books box
. Going on a trip in a couple of days and downloaded a lot of trashy books so I guess I will start on them. If you are looking for a cheap trashy e-book read, I would recommend The Black Falcon series
. They are really well written.
Jimmy wrote: "Shades of Earth by Beth Revis."The most unrecognized dystopia books. I love that series...
I just finished The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I loved loved loved this book. I hear the movie version now out isn't as good as the book. I can totally see that, the best part of the book were the descriptions and the way words were used. I very much recommend this book. I just started The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. It's my first time reading one of his books so I'm interested to see if I turn out to be a fan of his or not.
