In my introduction that I've just written, I wrote that I'm reading The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory. The protagonist is Hannah Green, a fictional Jewish girl who lives during the reigns of Edward VI, Mary I, and (presumably) Elizabeth I of England. Originally from Spain as refugees of the Inquisition Hannah and her father now have a printing establishment in London into which comes some noblemen from the court. One of them, Lord Robert Dudley, askes Mr. Green to release Hannah to serve at court, where she will become one of the court fools--and later a spy and companion (to Queen Mary).

Just finished WOnder by RJ Palacio. Loved the story and loved the characters in it. Full of heart and very inspirational, i would recommend it to anybody :)

Last night I finished Coraline and I loved it! It's such an easy read and the story is original and interesting. It's creepy and quite a nightmare, but still very beautiful. Coraline, the main character, is very likable and quite brave for a small girl. I'm looking forward to read more books from Neil Gaiman.

I just finished the clockwork angel by Cassandra Clare, and it was amazing!!! The mortal instruments series and the bloodlines series by Richelle Mead are also epic. Beautiful creatures is also pretty good, if you don't mind extremely detailed books. The uglies series is really good- but the third and second book made me so irritated and sad! The book Everbound by Brodi Ashton is also really good. The host is amazing!! Don't bash it just because its Stephanie Meyer. Same for twilight. Sure, it's not the most complex and impressive piece of writing, but that's the point! It's written so everyone could read, understand, and enjoy it. Those are just the ones I could name off the top of my head.

@twelvejan Yes, the third book is out as of March 5th (today) eeeeeeeeekkkkkk :D & the trilogy is amazing! I recommend it to everyone :) Def check it out

I just started reading The Crystal Promise by James Funfer, and No Rest for the Wiccan by Madelyn Alt.

I am reading the Alt series and am only a few pages into ch. 1 with not much of an opinion yet.

As for the sci-fi book, The Crystal Promise. I like the characters and warmed up to them immediately. So far the story is moving along nicely and is easy to follow. I'm not at a "review" point yet.

I just borrowed "The Passage" by Justin Cronyn from the library. It is pretty engaging so far, and is the type of book a lot of you seem to like; an amalgam of dystopian sci-fi, vampire, and adventure. If you liked any of these, you will like The Passage:

I'm planning on reading them soon because I'ver heard really good things. I think I can find at least Wither at Half-Price Books, so I'll go soon and look :)

I CAN'T BELIEVE REQUIEM IS OUT! I don't have time to buy it until after y evening class tonight, but I have been waiting years for this book. I'm nervous, though, because this is one of those series where I know how I want it to end, and I'm pretty sure I'll be crushed if it doesn't end like that. Fingers crossed!
