You can do more than one poem if you'd like but will only get entered into the drawing twice - once for putting together a poem and once for a picture.

My morbid poem:
I Don't Want To Kill You
In Cold Blood
Just After Sunset
Rage Is Back
Spilled Blood
Hide And Seek
Try The Morgue
Morgue Drawer Four

The last battle,
Running loose.
The lost world,
Out of the dust.
Forgotten God,
Foreign to familiar,
Beautiful.
Hunger,
Forbidden doors,
Fallen angels,
One sacred effort,
Atonement,
Forever.

Such a Pretty Girl
living in the dark
Winter masques
at graves end:
Apocalypse.

I might add one later made from books I own.

Jez & Morgeads night out,
A Touch Morbid,
Those who Favour Fire,
Born in Flames
Bound
Being Mrs. Dracula
Such Wicked Intent

Juliet,
Beautiful Disaster
Dead Eyes, Hold Tight
Halfway to the Grave.
Wake!

Juliet was a great read!

My Poem:
In The Woods
Dear John
A Teeny Bit of Trouble.
The Woods,
Prepare
Lover Mine.

Intertwined
Blaze
Catching Fire
Burn
Racing The Dark
>.< Teenager has one of my books so I couldn't make the pic.
Thanks Jennifer, you can post it later if you have a chance.
My son never returns my books. I have to go looking for them.

That's awesome! I used to but decided to get rid of most of my physical books a few years ago just for space purposes. Any I want to re-read (again) I can get from the library :)
I did get rid if some books but I can't get rid if my Stephen king ones because my dad got them all for me, every single one. He would go into old bookstores to find them even while he was away for work, so I am never getting rid of them. :) dorky I know!

That is not dorky at all. I have a Stephen King collection started by my mother, added to by my father who passed away and I am adding to it now. If I have my way my children will inherit the collection. There is nothing wrong wit that at ALL.

Aw!That's really sweet not dorky Delmy!Sadly I haven't read ANY Stephen King books yet! :(
AW! you guys are so nice! yes, i am glad i have a dad that cares about my interests, he actually has read some of them himself. yes, i love my collection! :)

So here is the challenge: Book Spine Poetry.
Yep, you heard it. What you need to do is make a poem out of book titles. Here is my example that I used for the read-a-thon:
Choosing to see
Things that are
Changeless
Eclipse
Things not seen
So, go get your books, make some Book Spine Poetry, and share!
To be entered into the contest:
1 entry for making a poem out of book titles you own - or use books from here on your GR shelves if you do not actually own any physical books
1 entry for actually posting a picture!
If you have never posted pictures on here, Photobucket is what I use and it makes it really easy. Sign up for a free Photobucket account, upload your photo, and it automatically creates an HTML code which you can copy and paste directly into the comment box. Super easy.
I will draw a name randomly from all the entries on January 31. Winner will get a $10 gift card from either Amazon or B&N, so make sure you can use one of those sites!
Thanks for playing!
