Group Contests

Happy New Year everyone!


I have decided to turn over the contents to the group this year. I'm doing this for two reasons-
1) I am running out of ideas for contests
2) Since starting back to school I do not have the time to come up with fun things to do every month.

So I am looking for volunteers to run the contests, one each month. You would be responsible for coming up with a contest everyone can play, posting the rules, and providing a prize. The prize can be anything – an Amazon or B&N gift card, a book (new please), an e-book, a bookmark, or something else – as long as it is book related.

The contests can be anything book related. They do not necessarily have to be about one of the books of the month.

Hey Sheri- I'm interested, a lil bit scared but I'd like to help, do you have a way I could look at what has already been done (like last years schedule or something similar)? Also with the prize for the game, do I personally handle the cost of it, & run it through goodreads independent of my blog/ clothing companie website stuff, or can it correlate with other stuff? It's cool either way, I just want to make sure I understand "my" end

Damn it, I always forget the first part, so awesome about school, it's a lot of time but I'm tickled pink that you're such a machine of "doing"! Appreciation for all the time you have & still do dedicate to making goodreads fun for all ages & manners of interest... No small task yet you do it brilliantly, patiently , & at times tirelessly. Thanks Sheri:) thanks for everything you got going on. It's inspiring. I want to be like you when I grow up lol, if that ever happens but for now I'd like to help out. Clare- I put links to some of the past ones in the first thread above. For the prize, yes you would take care of the cost unless you can find someone to donate something...you might be able to find authors willing to donate a book or two.

Thanks guys. Alyssia, you can do March and I'll put you down for May Delmy. Let me know if something changes and you can't do it or want to switch months.
