Ok. My favorite scene in Beautiful Disaster is the one I just finished reading. It wants to make me scream at Abby but it is so real and yet written in such a weird matter of a fact way that it is almost funny to me. I know this is not supposed to be funny, but the author's writing is awkward. It is the scene around page 160 in chapter nine where (view spoiler)[Abby has just slept with Travis and then even though it was her freaking virginity she just gave up, she leaves him and just tries to move back to her place, thinking that it will be okay because that was just closure for them. Say what? Is she out of her mind? What girl acts like that? And then he just goes on a rampage tearing the apartment up, but when he talks to her just says, Oh okay, you need your space, okay. (hide spoiler)]. Uh....whatever. I like the scene because it is so bizarre that it is almost laughable.

Just finished The Moon Dwellers, and I enjoyed so many of the scenes. One of the most memorable to me was (view spoiler)[ the scene when Tristan finally caught up to Adele as she was escaping the orphanage with Elsey. They were so close to meeting, but because they were being chased (as usual), they didn't quite meet. Still, it was the first time they spoke, and Tristan was willing to risk his safety and fight for Adele. It really helped to show the powerful connection between them. (hide spoiler)] As I said, though, I loved so many of the scenes that many of the others also could have qualified as my favorite.

The only book I have read out of this bunch is City of Glass,which happens to be one of my favorite books. My favorite scene is the ending,(view spoiler)[where the whole gang is together watching the fireworks.It is my favorite because it is somewhat of a happy ending,which Clary and Jace deserve. My favorite scene was in the City of Glass pgs. 330-334 when (view spoiler)[ Jace visits Clary and spends the night and their talking and what Jace says was just so beautiful to me. "There is no pretending," Jace said with absolute clarity. "I love you, and I will love you until I die, and if there's a life after that, I'll love you then." (hide spoiler)]

So I chose City of Glass. I thought this part was ironically funny. What does that say about my sense of humor..? (view spoiler)[ Th part where Valentine is calling the angel after all that work and death over all those years and all it takes is a girl rubbing out a portion of the circle and putting her name instead to ruin it all. Another ironic thing is that Valentine was doing all of this for the angel he summoned and the angel thinks he's egoistical and doing it for himself and kills him as punishment. How ironic is that...? After all this work and dead just like that by the thing he was doing it for. (hide spoiler)]

I, too, chose City of Glass. My favorite part in this book has to be the end. Where the celebration is taking place and Clary sees a woman who she's seen before from some where but can't place it. Magnus goes and talks to the woman. This woman of course is Tessa. I know, out of all the action & goodness I chose this scene. It might have to do with my love for The Infernal Devices. :)

I have only read The Moon Dwellers in this list and I agree with Amanda. That was a very magical scene but I also like (view spoiler)[When he finally catches up to her the second time as they get off the train and take advantage of the smoke to make there escape from the crazy guy, that was sent to hunt her and her friends down. As he finally gets close to her, she just stops, turns, and kicks him before she realizes who it is. (hide spoiler)] I had to set my kindle away from me for a minute while I laughed really hard and re-imagined the scene and there expressions.

The only book I've read so far that I'd like to share a scene with is The Immortal Rules, but after looking at everyone elses scenes, I really want to hop on the other books quick!

My favourite scene is actually a combination of two scenes that happens fairly early in the book. (view spoiler)[ While on a scavage expedition for food, Allison is rough with her friend Stick, to try to help him become a stronger, and more self sufficient boy. She tells him that although his "family" may be there to help him, they'd still chose theirown lifeover his, and that overall he could only truly depend on himself.

Shortly afterwards Stick and Allie are alone and attacked by a Rabid, and Allie risks her life to save him, even though just shortly before she said she would never do it. I really loved that scene, it showed that even if she claimed that she would never do it, she would still risk her life for anyone that she cares about. :) (hide spoiler)]

It was so sweet!!

One of my many favorite scenes from Beautiful Disaster is when (view spoiler)[ Abby goes to the Valentine's Day frat party and Travis showed up and was trying to get her attention and she kept drinking and dancing, so Travis decided to pick her up and throw her over his shoulder and take her to his apartment. They were both acting so childish it was so funny and romantic at the same time. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

I have to agree with the angel in thinking Valentine was selfish.(view spoiler)[He took other people's lives,he killed his in-laws and Jace's dad,tried to kill his own kid,messed with his son's blood,kidnaps an angel,kidnaps his wife or ex-wife whatever she is bc I dont think they ever divorced on the account that he is suppose to be dead and all he wants is for shadowhunters to be high class citizens while all underworlders, whether good or bad, are low class and deserve to die. I've only read City of Glass, but my favourite part was when (view spoiler)[ Jace dies and Clary uses her one wish from the angel to bring him back to life (hide spoiler)]. I kept thinking, "This is going to come back and haunt you, Clary" while at the same time, thinking, "Awwww!!!"
